I joined this gym on a pre-opening deal, so I get an OK rate. However, I just say that in my opinion the quality has really gone downhill. For the most part, the gym is maintained fairly well in that it is not dirty or dusty. But, the other reviewer is correct in that many of the machines need to be replaced as treadmill belts are loose, displays don't work correctly, etc. A couple of nights ago, I went to run on the treadmill. I had to LITERALLY try about 7 different treadmills because none of them worked, AND there were no signs on them! When I thought I had found one, I started running and after a minute suddenly the treadmill just STOPPED. I almost fell down and broke a tooth! Much of the equipment that supposedly works is falling apart and makes weird noises, etc. The pool looks horrible. I've swam some laps recently and didn't have any adverse affects, but the floor has sort of a yellowish tint to it so it doesn't look well cared for. The spa also had a yellowish film floating on the top with the bubbles. Gross. The staff are typical in that environment, so I won't critique. Let's just say that they are not unusual, but that is not great. I used to love this gym when it was new, but now I'm actually thinking about checking out the new 24 Hour Fitness in Glendora. :-(

The quality of the gym and equipment is average. Some treadmills and ellipticals are always broken, and 5% of the machines are not working at any given time. The pool is often slimy.

The staff are, save for one or two employees, awful to deal with... I had one question the authenticity of my membership upon entry and almost not let me in. Since they have no problem charging me the $40 a month, I was pretty angry. I asked to speak to the manager only to find that the woman in question WAS the manager.

I also pay $10 a month extra for "guest privileges" that allow me to bring two people with me when I come in. There has not been one time where the staff has not badgered my guests to get a membership. They often seem angry or annoyed with me for constantly bringing people, as if they are doing me a favor by allowing me to take advantage of the service I pay for.

This gym is also very busy a lot of the time, and I'm told much better deals are available at 24 hour down the street.

Stay away from this club. Even though they say they provide a month to month membership, when you try to cancel your membership, they just give you the run around. After I had cancelled my membership, I was still charged the monthly fee, very sneaky people. When I tried to talk to someone, they said there was nothing they can do to give me my money back.

This is a good place to go and have a good work out, or to go play some raquetball, or some basketball, or to even do some laps in the pool. They have many different types of machines for cradio workouts, or if you want to just lift weights, they definetly have all different types of machines and free weights for that also. The only bad part is that they are kind of expensive, and it gets really crowded from 430 until 7.
