For years The Huddle had always been one of my favorite hang outs on Friday nights. Our favorite bartender, believe her name is Tammy, (Not that coked out blonde) and bouncers (Not Liam) work that night and are very courteous. Unfortunately I will never go there again. Two Saturdays ago the only person working (until 10pm when the bouncer Liam and the coked out skinny brunette showed up) was that coked out little blonde girl and there were about 50-70 people in the bar. One of the clientele was drunk and throwing darts and waving a pool stick at everyone, but she was far too busy flirting with some guy at the end of the bar to kick him out. Finally this drunken idiot made his way out front to smoke and decided he wanted to fight everyone so he pulled a metal base ball bat out of his truck and that's when my friend and I decided to call the cops on him to have him removed. Once we got back into the bar that coked out little girl conspired with her on coming bar help and bouncer to have only my friend and I removed even though there was about 10-15 of us telling the cops what happened. If she would have paid attention to what was going on, none of this would have happened.

If you are going to go to the Huddle then I suggest Friday night only.

I was at The Huddle over this past weekend. I found it strange that all the female bartenders were there behind the bar yet the place was pretty dead. Why would they all need to be there? Well I soon found out. They were all running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off and every single one appeared to have a cold or allergies because they were all sniffling and had red noses and glazed eyes. Yeah...they were all coked out!!! It was disgusting and I may just never go back to this place. I know cokeheads from a mile away and these girls just get skinnier and skinnier. So sad :( I don't want my tab to be running in a place where they are all on coke. No thanks!

Pros: cheap strong drinks

Cons: too many to list

.

A cheap bar with lots of pool tables and 75c pool. Some decent looking women there - a good place to go for beer and billiards - it's a dive bar, but if that's what you're looking for, it's a good dive bar.

Pros: Several good looking low-income women

Cons: redneckish

.

It's definitely a locals hang out but there are always nice folks to chat it up with! Good tunes, fun games, and a laidback atmoshpere. Friendly bartenders!

The Huddle has officially been named one the TOP 10 best places in all of North America to play "Bar Pool". This distinction was awarded to The Huddle in 2008 by www.Bar-Pool. com -- the only website dedicated to identifying where to play pool in bars, tavern and pubs (not pool halls). This award was given based on several criteria: 1) two or more pool tables which are coin-operated (so you can challenge), 2) a fair numbers of players on any given night, 3) the skill level of the players, and 4) a willingness by the players to take on challengers -- to mix it up. The Huddle scores high on all these criteria. Bar-Pool. com can tell you where to play bar pool in most major cities in the US and Canada, and seeks YOUR input -- tell us where you like to play.

Seedy smokey dive bar... with 3 or 4 quarter op pool tables.... locals.. ecclectic mix, mostly near beach whites. some hispanics, we were the only asians in the place, but were treated one and the same... nice door guy... , cool barkeep remembered me from a noon stop awhile back.... 3dollar coors light on tap... better than the 11 deep list for 14 hour pool table at DnB in Irvine...THAT CROWD IS IRRITATING!!!

This is a small, dive bar, but very welcoming and comfortable. Good music, laid back atmosphere. Stiff drinks, great bartending service! Variety of people. They have a pool table and some arcade games also. Smoking patio enclosed in the front facing thestreet. Easy to find, close to freeways and main streets.
