Probably the best Korean restaurant I've been to. I went there about a year ago for a friends birthday and we got a private room in the back. It was a pretty cool room and there was a stove built in to our table so we can watch the food cook in front of us. The restaurant looked pretty clean and did not have that nasty smell that other Korean restaurants have.
There was a button on the table that you can push to call the waitress over which my friends were having a little too much fun with. The waitress turned out to be really nice and brought us everything we asked for on time.
The prices were a little higher compared to other places but well worth it.

The VIP private room made me feel like an important business man on a meeting for the Korean mafia.
Chosun Galbee was a really cool place and I will definitely go back.

I recommend it for people who want a legit Korean BBQ.

This is the first of the fancy Korean restaurants decked out in concrete, steel, and modern design. The outdoor dining area is especially nice in the evening after a hot day. The food is not great but good. The service is fine with Korean ladies walking around in their traditional outfits. A good place for those who want an introduction to authentic Korean food in Koreatown.

For me I don't think it's a fascinating place as other people said. Their menu are a bit pricey which people claim their meat quality are top notch but I disagree. Their marinate were not bad but average. They don't even have rice paper which I love. Only thing i think its beyond average for this place is the ambiance. The outside patio actually feel quite nice to hang out but their valet sucks so oh well just satisfactory star for this one.

This is an upscale Korean restaurant near the intersection of Western and Olympic. They offer barbecue as well as a variety of other Korean dishes. As Korean restaurants go it is relatively expensive. Entrees run around $15-$20 a plate, with a few cheaper things, and a few more expensive things. The barbecue dishes we tried were all very good, the ingredients were top-notch, the marinate for the barbecue was great, and so forth, thus the higher price was justified. There were a variety of other very interesting looking dishes on the menu, including raw beef. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, it should win a prize for interior decoration. This seems to be a popular place. We arrived at 6pm and were seated quickly, but by 7pm there was a huge crowd of trendy-looking types in the lobby waiting to be seated.
