I worked just down the street from here and they are very good for a quick meal. They have a great teriyaki and great California rolls. Really good Japanese when you are on the run.

This is a great spot for a light lunch or early dinner near Park Street. The food is fresh, arrives quickly, and you can't beat the prices. Note that there are no traditional sushi/sashimi options on the menu--just rolls. I like the California rolls, and the tempura has great texture. Avoid this location at 12:30 during the school year, as the high school is across the street, and the space fills up with students...the line can be long.

Pros: Low cost, walking distance to downtown shopping, healthy food

Cons: Sometimes long lines, not a huge variety on the menu, limited seating in restaurant

The most expensive dinner bento is $5.40 for the beef teriyaki or tempura shrimp. The food is hot and delicious. There can be a wait during the lunch and dinner rush, so I advise calling in your orders on your way there. My favorite in the Tonkatsu, but the best deal is the chicken teriyaki because they heap on the chicken. The Alaska is a nice affordable treat.

Pros: great deal, tasty, honest food, hot tea while waiting

Cons: can get crowded, closes early, small
