Fresh buffet

by Brenda H. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 221

This is by far one of the best buffets. What a selection of fresh salads, and soups. The chinese chicken and the broccoli salad are my favs. They have about six different soups/chilis offered. The chili is hearty and meaty.
Also for you enjoyment is a great selection of breads, muffins, fruit, and ice cream. Dont' miss their chocolate chip cookies, they're yummy! It's a nice atmosphere, reasonably priced around $10, and family friendly. Good meal!

healthy buffet

by Vanessa F. | insider Insider | Rank: 24,595

Located near I-805 and Clairemont Mesa Blvd, Souplantation is a healthy and inexpensive buffet that offers lots of good food. The first thing you see when you walk thru the door is the salad bar (my favorite is the Chinese chicken salad). There are six types of soup on any given day (I recommend the chicken noodle and corn chowder), as well as pasta dishes, pizzas, baked potatoes, a variety of breads and muffins (give the blueberry muffins a try), fruits and dessert. A very filling experience.
