I love the clothes at Tommy Bahama. Their are relaxed, stylish, and very high quality. I was not happy with the store at the Grove, and I will be buying my island wear at Nordstrom or Bloomingdales, both of which have better service.

Receipts from Tommy Bahama have a pre-printed, very explicit return policy. They will accept back any mechandise with the original receipt, and photo ID, for any reason. I went to the store with three pairs of pants and belt purchased 5 months ago, with my original receipt for the merchandise, for approximately $475.00. The store manager first claimed that the return policy requires that the merchandise is unworn, unaltered, has original tags, and is in original condition. I asked her where that policy was printed, as the one on the receipts has none of these conditions. She ultimately admitted that the policy on the receipt prevails, and honored the policy.

There is no on-site tailoring available at this store, which I consider odd for a store that sells $115-$200 a pair men's silk trousers. In that pricing range, I would not want people taking my clothes out of the store to their personal tailor. As a customer, I also expect stores that sell clothing in this price range to have liberal return/exchange policies. I've never been asked for more than a receipt to perform a return or exchange at Nordy's Bloomies, or any other full service department store that carries the Tommy Bahama Line.
