The staff was extremly rude, the massage was terrible- for one thing I requested a female therapist and they gave me a male so it was very uncomfortable. When I called to make the appointment to get rid of the gift certificate that was given to me the lady that I spoke to was very unhelpful and very rude. They couldn't get me in until 3 weeks! I've never experienced this before, I would never spend my money or time here ever!

The staff is rude, the manager even more so. My sister made an appointment for me to do a spa package, but I canceled the appointment 48 hours prior. She then received her credit card statement charging her for the spa package. When I called to tell them I had canceled the appointment and they should not have charged my sister's credit card, the rude receptionist informed me that it was a non-refundable "gift certificate." However, in my sister's understanding, she was not going to be charged for the spa package unless I showed up to fulfill the appointment. We then spoke with the manager, who also insisted it was an alleged "gift certificate" and would not credit the money back.

Had they been more sympathetic and tried to work with us on this matter, perhaps my sister or I would have then used the dollar amount charged to her by taking advantage of their services. But I was so turned off by their poor customer service and lack of sympathy that I refuse to step through their door.

My friends and I went to Sandra Caron Spa as part of a bachelorate party recently. The services were great. They were able to book all 10 of us at the same time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was soothing. Very clean and relaxing. I would recommend this spa to anyone looking to have a great day. Plus, all the customers that I talked to while sitting there raved about their experience too.

I am not a spa fan but my wife booked a surprise couple massage at Sandra Caron Spa and I was extremely well treated. The staff went out of their way to ensure that I felt comfortable with their treatments. This is the first time I have ever been motivated to write a review of a spa. I suggest that wives give their husbands treatments for presents.

I went to Sandra Caron Spa for the first time last weekend and I was blown away. The waterfall at the entrance is so soothing. I could live there. I had a facial that consisted of collagen. I have had many facials in my days and I really have never seen results like the one I experienced at Sandra Caron Spa. Give it a try and you won't be sorry. They also have cool products line I've never seen anywhere else. I bought some and love them. I'll be going there from now on.

I was looking for a gift and I saw Sandra Caron European Spa. I went inside and the ambiance there was very relaxing. I looked around for a while. The front desk person offered to help me. She was friendly and courteous. She gave me a tour of the Spa and I have decided to try a massage here. It was the best massage I had in a while. Not to say that I immediately bought a nice gift certificate and I will definitely go back for more services. I loved the sauna and the steam room. It was nice to take my time after the massage.

I have been a regular client of the Sadra Caron Spa for almost 10 years and I have had nothing but excellent services here. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I always feel relaxed and pampered after my services. They have a variaty of services so I can always try something different. The place is also extremelly clean.

Today, I had an amazing massage at Sandra Caron Spa. I went there with muscle pain from over exercising and I left the place like a new person. The massage therapist new exactly what I needed. The facility is also very nice. I was surprised of how big it was. I loved all the oils and baths salts they have.

The place was worse than the actual services, but combined make it a disaster. It is very dirty and the decor is very, very tired! I had a gift certificate for a number of services and expected to have 2.5 to 3 hours of services., but was actually barely 2 hours. The first was a leg bath - silly, uncomfortable service. The massage didn't include much more than neck and shoulders. The water bath was a disappointment because they ran out of hot water. And, I can give a better facial in my bathroom at home -- a little massage, then she put a mask on left the room. She was only interested in selling me products. I didn't see an herbal bar, nor steam baths.

I just came home from Sandra Caron Spa, and I was so impressed with their services and products. It just happened that I was walking around for somewhere to go and I decided to enter into Sandra Caron Spa and I don't regret it. I had the best facial and hot stone massage ever. I just moved from New York so I don't know much of other places but I really enjoyed my first visit today. It's nice to see the variety of the services they have to offer and also the products. I bought I bunch of soaps and lotions and baths salts. It was hard to resist all of them. I will definitely go back to this Spa.

My friends and I went to Sandra Caron Spa over the weekend to have a bridal party. We had such a great time. We all had a steam bath, a body polish, a milk whey bath, a parafatsu massage (which is their signature massage), and a wonderful facial. The six hours spend at the Spa were the most relaxing and wonderful times that I have ever spent in a spa. All the staff was very welcoming and professional; we had a chance to talk to each other in the lounging room while we were waiting for treatments. All my friends and myself looked and felt amazing after all the wonderful treatments...So, I am looking forward for my birthaday so I can go have some more of their special treatments. Thank you Sandra Caron Spa for making my Bridal Party a special one.

I love the body wraps with sea salt lemon oils and seaweed. My skin glows so much after this treatment. It?s also very relaxing. Awesome! Thank you so much Sandra Caron Spa! I have tried everything here, facials, waxing, tanning, water jet baths, and every time I am more and more amazed of how good I feel after each treatment. I cannot wait to come back for another wonderful treatment!

i've gone to lots of spas, but this was the worst in terms of price for service. very expensive facial but you don't get anything better than what you can get elsewhere. the facilities could use some upgrades - the room i used was not nice, nor the adjoining restrooms, changing area. if you're looking for a nice spa treatment, try the ones on citysearch top 10 - much better service for less than what you pay here.

As Christmas approaches us fast, you might have a hard time finding the special gift for your family or the significant other. I have been shopping for gifts at the Spa for a couple of years now. I find some very unique gifts there. My friends love the gifts I buy for them every year. Besides the gift certificates that can be in any amount, the friendly staff also helps me put together boxes with goods such as lotions, soaps, relaxing cd's, and very comfortable robes. The ideas are endless here. I love everything they have and also knowing that I only stop at one place and do most of my shopping it?s also very appealing to me. Hopefully, this year you can cut the long lines at the mall and find something relaxing and rejuvenating at the Spa.

My girlfriend told me about this spa. I had a Spa Duo package with my husband. It was wonderful.
We had a bath with lavander oil in a double tub with candles around. Romantic and relaxing. After we had massage in same room. The best massage we both ever had. Treatments ended in the lounge where we relaxed on confortable beds with herbal teas by the side. The spa has steam and sauna and plenty of showers. Great place to relax.

At Sandra Caron Spa you will find something for everybody. I really like purchasing gift certificates here for all my friends and family. I love their hydrojet bath such as mud bath and their massages. I purchased gifts for feet and hands treatements, facials and lots of massages. I am hooked on this place. Nce staff and very cute things around. Really nice place.

I had a hot stone massage yesterday. The technique used was unique. I felt super relaxed after the massage. But before the massage I took a mud bath which really help me to warm up my muscles. I also enjoyed the steam and the comfortable beds they have in the relaxation room which are included in the price. Very friendly staff. I found the Spa to be a really nice place.

My husband suprised me with a day at the spa for my birthday! It was so awesome. I had a parafatsu massage and an active facial. I stayed and relaxed in the sauna and steam rooms for nearly the entire day. I even took a little nap in the relaxation room in there comfortable chairs. The spa was so clean and everyone was so nice, from the front desk to the therapists. I told my husband when in doubt on a gift for me . . . a gift certificate from sandra caron would be the greatest!

Update: September 1, 2007

Last weekend I went again to the Spa and I had a parafatsu massage. Before the massage I went to the steam room, and after I relaxed on a very comfortable bed. I felt so good. I cannot wait to go again.

For Valentine's Day, my husband purchased for me a Gift Certificate at Sandra Caron European Spa. It was for Valentine Day Package which includes an aromatherapy bath and massage for both of us. It was the most relaxing and perfect day. The atmosphere there was very romantic. I felt like we were the only clients there. The therapists were very courteous and professional. We definitely recommend Sandra Caron European Spa to everybody who has busy lives and wants to spend time with their significant other in a relaxing atmosphere.

I was having some tension in my lower back and a friend recommended I go into Sandra Caron Spa in San Mateo. I must say, I was a bit reluctant Ive tried massages before in Calistoga, Hawaii, San Francisco, and other places but was never totally satisfied.
I finally broke down and made a 30 min appointment. I figured what the hell its just 30 minutes out of my busy life. When I arrived, I pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and courteous, spa is extremely clean and those chairs in the relaxation room When the message therapist, who happened to be a very funny Russian guy, came out to get he asked a lot more questions then just where does it hurt and what do you do. He explained to me that just because it hurts where it hurts, thats not necessarily the source of a problem. In addition, he mentioned that 30 minutes are really a waist of money since there is no way to work on a problem in such a short period of time. To make a long story short, after an hour of the best deep tissue massage Ive ever had and a nap in those chairs, I felt like a brand new person. Alex, thats his name, also recommended a few exercises and stretches that I use on daily bases to prevent further discomfort.
If you had a 100 massages or never had 1, Id strongly suggested you make an appointment!

I had an Active Facial and a Parafatsu Massage.
Healing and relaxing. And the steam room with eucalyptus was great as well as the relaxation lounge.

I had a parafatsu massage (told to be spa's signature massage): pressure points Shiatsu over hot mud applied on neck and back. This was the best massage ever.
Great facility with steam rooms, saunas and relaxation lounge with herbal teas and cucumber water,
Eucaliptus oil in the steam room fully energized me.
Essential oils everywhere smell like heaven.
