Ichiban Kan

This is a really fun place to shop just to see what you can find. Not all of it is a dollar, but a lot is. It's also fun to find Japanese versions of everyday things, like makeup and household items. The kids love the toys and you can get some good snacks and gifts as well.

this place is awesome!!! they have so much stuff and a lot of it is only a dollar. they have all kinds of gift items to really usefull utensils and tools. they also have foods and snack type items. i always spend hours in this place looking at things to buy. they have all kinds of asian snack foods that you cant really find in regular supermarkets.

This is listed as a grocery store. They do sell some snacks, but it's not a grocery at all. This is more a dollar store for Japanese imports. You never know what you'ill find. It fun to browse through the stuff, and many bargains can be had. I found an excellent stainless steel fruit knife with a sheath for only a buck, for example. They sell kitchen items, tools, cleaning supplies, toys, stickers, accessories, and small appliances too. But if you see something you want don't wait! Everything seems to be in a limited supply so when it is gone, it's gone!

PROS: Lots of good deals on kitchen items , tools, and unique things
CONS: Some items are just plastic stuff like containers
