10/07/2007. the young checker "35" never uttered a word to me during the whole transaction. I only purchased four items. Not a greeting, not a total on my purchases, not even counting back my change, and not even a "have a nice day". I never spoke a word to him because of my first impression. I thought he couldn't speak., but when a fellow employee approached him, he was talking up a storm. strange experience

Very nice "neighborhood" market that offers very high end produce and fresh meat. The produce is ALWAYS fresh and ripe. The meat counter is incredible. NO prepackaged meat - they have an old-fashioned meat counter, where you point to the meat you want, and they wrap it for you. They will tenderize and slice your meats. They also offer angreat deli section. You pay a little more, but it's worth it!
