I became aware of the importance of living a healthy lifestyle years a go when I suffer from sickness. I love it that this gym has all I need to get back in shape.

I play gym here every Tues and Thurs night and the courts are nice and clean. This is a Sport club which means it is bigger and has more equipment. You don't even have to take a card anymore and just scan your finger. They even have daycare. For $24 per month, its worth it.

Terrible attitude, lousy customer service. I was customer of 24 hr fitness for 15 years, my wife and I got such god awful treatment by the San Ramon staff we quit in disgust. The are gung ho intent on scamming and selling, blindly aggressive, treated us like crap. I called "member services" several times, they blew us off.

The one call we got after we quit was clearly all about damage control. San Ramon used to be a class facility, current management is driving it off a cliff. Do not join this club, there are better choices out there.

This is one of the best gyms in the area. It has everything I can think of in a gym: a pool, basketball courts, weight, and cardio areas. I prepaid the membership for my wife and I a while back, so it only costs us like $40 a month. Oh, and they have towels for your use at the front desk, no extra charge!!

This is one of the more higher end 24 Hour Fitness clubs where you'll need an actual picture ID on your actual 24 Hour Fitness membership club. This place is huge and offers plenty of equipment, both cardio related and weights. It has a pool and an onsite juice bar! It is very clean and all the equipment is kept in great shape. You need to pay a little more than the typical Costco $299/2 year membership, but if you live close by to conveniently drive to - this is a great gym!

Pros: Large Facility with many exercise options

Cons: Expensive

The web quote for the price of joining is completely inaccurate. The best thing to do is hop on over to the gym and talk to one of their sales counselors. They'll give you a tour and show you all the great amenities they have -- like a Jamba Juice right inside the facility! The club could be a little cleaner in the ladies' locker room but I already see someone there all the time cleaning! I think it's the sheer size that makes it more difficult. The space is really big and there are so many machines, you don't have to wait in line for your favorite one, even during peak hours. I think people might be afraid of being pressured into investing into an expensive package, there are really a full range of choices. And yes, it is an investment -- an investment in your health!
