They continue to serve fresh and tasty authentic mexican food. On the weekends, they have soups on specials. Such as beef & chicken. They also have shrimp cocktails. The owner is the same. The food is good and with the new remodel it is a lot more comfortable to eat there. Can't go wrong with this taqueria. They are smaller in comparison to other taqueria's in the city. The worst part - The meat isn't fresh - Not cooked when ordered. Another complaint was they don't have a lot of meat in them. I've tried many other places, trying to seek out that truly authentic, hole-in-the-wall place - but this one is consistently good (not to mention clean and friendly). By PECOSA73 I just have to say their food quality is really bad. They use "can" refried beans, steak instead of bbq meat (carne asada), avocado is old and their rice is burned. They need to lower the prices and better the quality of food. I would recommend LA CORNETA TAQUERIA to anyone.
