Thep Phanom Restaurant

I love this place. I don't even live in San Francisco anymore, but every time I'm home I have to go here at least once. Everything is always so good and fresh tasting. The taro is scrumptious as is the curry. I think I just drooled all over my keyboard.

Three words: Basil Basil Shrimp!! It is one of the many dishes that keeps me going back. The service is great and the restaurant is cute. I have always enjoyed the food, no matter the dish.

This is, simply, one of, if not the best Thai food restaurant in the city. They just recently raised their prices to around a $13 median for an entre, but it still is definitely worth it. Everything here is totally flavorful, the food is fresh and wonderful.... you really cannot go wrong with anything you order here. Try the Weeping Lady. Its fantastic.

Thep Phenom offers some of the best Thai food in San Francisco, and that's saying something! The restaurant is often quite loud but that's the only real downside to this hot little spot. There are many, maybe too many tasty items to choose from, and the food never fails to be delicious. The wait staff is helpful in choosing if you need it, and they are courteous and efficient. The price is reasonable, too.
