Lots of Wine!

This place has tasty food and tons of wine choices. I went here for a birthday and we had enjoyed sangria and we ate paella. It was all fantastic, but the tables are very very close to the table next to you and I felt a little strange speaking to my boyfriend with people overhearing our entire life story!

I love ceviche, our friend makes the best ceviche and I always compare it to his and Limon comes very close. The service is great and the decor is romantic. A great date night place.

This place offers an exciting, upscale take on homestyle Peruvian food. I'm not that into fish, but their seafood was top! Great music, and a lovely space - even the bathrooms and flowers were chic.

Good Sangria!

I actually wanted to review the new Limon Rotisserie located at 1001 S Van Ness Ave, but it wasn't listed. Same restaurant, menus are a little different but Limon Rotisserie has a more relaxed atmoshphere and is less pretentious. I def suggest the Sangria, ceviche, chicken chicharron, braised short ribs...Um- Before I list off the entire menu. Only issue is that I don't think they take reservations, and if you have a large party, it could end up being a bit of a wait and it is kind of small. Some people might say cozy.

Great peruvian
by Anonymous
Limon is definitely one of my most favorite restaurants in the city. The decor is fantastic, romantic and modern, and the food even better. Their ceviche is the best I've ever had, and this is in comparasion to EVERY Peruvian restaurant in SF. They also have delicious empanadas and sangria. Portions for all of their dishes are quite decent, and prices even better. I don't believe there is an entree over $20.
