Weiland Brewery Restaurant

This place was terrible. The manager was getting drunk the whole time, and decided to pick a fight with my friend because she decided she didn't want the crab cakes (they were the size of mini bagels). He yelled at her, yelled at us, and caused a scene in front of everyone. Even though we asked him to calm down he still blew up, and she was afraid he might even hit her. The security guard told us to just leave to bypass more angry outbursts from him. You can take your chances there, but I don't recommend it at all. We're telling ALL our friends to boycott it. I'll never step foot in that place again. She almost pressed charges against him for harassment.

This place is such a good spot for Happy Hour. They have the best garlic fries. If you try them once you will be hooked. The atmosphere is great you can't go wrong.

great little place. have had friends telling me about it for some time. finally went and close enough to Happy Hour to really make the most out of it. shame they charge $6 for parking, but it is in Downtown, and thats the norm down there.

I visit LA about once a month--every visit this year I think we've made it to Weiland...love the garlic fries, love the different art on the wall, really like the atmosphere!

I really enjoy going to this place because it's close everything in LA. You have Lil' Tokyo, LA Mall, MOCA, The Pantry.. it's basically within walking distance. So if you just want to relax and have a drink, this is a neat spot. Martini's are subtly strong, yum! Recommended: Side Car Martini. The appetizers are fun to share and quite inexpensive - highly recommended: Garlic Fries.
The atmosphere is mellow. The have a juke box with a variety of tunes. The decor is filled with art to appeal to your eyes.

PROS: Conveniently Located, Happy Hour Appetizers, Martini's
CONS: Kinda small, gets crowded on weekends

I love going to this place, especially after work. We only work 3 blocks away, so this place makes a great place for us to kick back, relax and just hang out, especially after a rough day/night at work!! People are friendly, prices are good. Happy Hour food are real cheap and good. I made lots of great friends there!! Thanks Weiland

Weiland is a good Happy Hour Hang out. Drinks are great Green Apple Martini's are really good here. There quezadillas and Garlic fries are good Happy Hour Appitizer. The people there are great!!
