Great start...  4 Star Rating - Very good

I've been playing and practicing here for over twenty years and FINALLY this place has made some huge improvements.
When is the rest of the course gonna get re-done.
Whoever did the redesign should be applauded for making this place interesting to play again. The range itself needs a little work but it is night and day compared to what is used to be.
The practice area is now by far the best in Silicon Valley!

A huge improvement!  4 Star Rating - Very good

New management has spent the last year making significant improvements to this old local 9-holer. The pro shop has been refurbished, the upper deck of range stalls has been rebuilt, and now there is a unique new grass driving range to go along with the mats. The first hole was shortened to a par three to make way for the grass range, both the first and second hole (including greens) were completely redone. They also added a state-of-the-art teaching facility in a separate building on the side of the range called "VisualGolf," where they have two stalls with multiple camera angles, launch monitors, plasma screens, and other techy tools to help improve your game, have custom club fittings, and the like. They have added a new snack bar and patio with a firepit, making it great for corporate events, associate club tournaments, and the like. All in all it is a tremendous improvement over what had become a run-down local course.

Learned here  4 Star Rating - Very good

I learned and sharpened my skills here and I still go back from time to time to hit some balls or meet up for a quick game.

Nice little course and good place to go practice if you are in the area.

A longer 9 hole course  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Pruneridge course is where we go when we'd like a longer course than Sunken Gardens but don't want to play a full 18. It's not as nice as Sunken Gardens since the greens are often browner and it doesn't seem as well kept. But it is more challenging and it is a longer course. There really are only two nine hole courses that are close to town (if you don't want to play a front or back nine of a regulation course), so if you've played Sunken Gardens and want to try something different, you should try Pruneridge. I like it here since it's longer and therefore you get a little more for your money. For 17 dollars it's a fun course to play. I honestly don't like to play golf for the whole day so I enjoy playing at nine hole courses where there are no par 5's. It rarely gets backed up at Pruneridge, so you can expect to finish within three hours. I think it's pretty good for beginners, so often times you see newbies on the course.

PROS: longer short course, nine holes, no par 5's, only 17 dollars
CONS: not well taken care of, a lot of beginners
