A TOP SECRET TREASURE IN ANAHEIM HILLS FIESTA CENTER!!!!  5 Star Rating - World class

Located right across a movie theater you can have a wonderful meal and then see a show. I recommend you come early because this place gets packed. THIS IS THE BEST RIB EYE STEAK AND OTHER TYPES OF STEAKS WE HAVE HAD FOR A MEDIUM PRICED RESTAURANT! The staff is prompt and polite, the menu gives you many choices. Their peanut/coleslaw is excellent. They have a cute bar area, catering area, and outside patio. This is hidden away so unless you are a local or have heard about it by word of mouth YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE. We have had nothing but great times, and good experiences, and we love that the majority of seating our large and mid sized booth and it is very nice inside! THIS IS A MUST TRY, AND THE DRIVE IS WORTH IT!:O)

Wood Ranch rules for BBQ Ribs  4 Star Rating - Very good

We've eaten many times here and never been let down, except for the wait. Get here early or prepare to wait for this food. The ribs and chicken are exceptional and the garlic rolls are delicious. Deserts are an afterthought so don't waste your money on these. Love those baked potatoes.

excellent food  4 Star Rating - Very good

this restaurant is fantastic. we came here for my moms birthday the other day. we had a large party, but still got seated very fast and had terrific service. the rolls here are the best! mmm garlic rolls. i got the halibut which is terrific. the steaks and ribs are great. they serve it with really good bbq sauce. each dish comes with two sides. i like the carbs-- garlic mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are great. the prices here are reasonable. a little higher than some restaurants, but for the great food its a good deal ($15-25 per entree)

4 Star Rating - Very good

Mmm....Wood Ranch was the first restaurant in Anaheim Hills to repetitively tempt my family. This is one of those places where we can all find something we really enjoy. I usually choose the BBQ Chicken Salad with crunchy veggies, warm tender chicken, and a really nice dressing. Other family members like the meats and chicken, which come with a choice of 2 sides (go for the mashed sweet potatoes and roasted corn!). If you want an indulgence, the onion ring pile is amazing. The desserts are fairly average- nothing really stands out. The service can vary quite a bit, but the waiters are usually charming and helpful. The interior is separated into several a few rooms, with further separations between booths for a more intimate feel. I only wish that the restaurant took reservations, because we often wait 45-60 minutes for a table. If you like, try their take-out service- the food is fresh and prepared in about 15 minutes.

Eat more fish. Love the tri tip. 5 Star Rating - World class

BBQ is a personal thing and the tri tip here is the best I've ever had. The thing is, this place makes the best fish I've had in a long time. Grilled over white oak -- they showed me the separate grill they use. Very smart. I loved the baked potato and the asparagus. Eat well, my friends.

Pros: Great tri tip and fish.
Cons: Wait can be lengthy.

Not too good 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

We ate at Woodranch this past weekend for lunch. It was not all that impressive. But I am from the south where BBQ is life. They drench it in this mesquite BBQ sauce that is not too good. The ribs would be much better without all the sauce. The gaucamole was EXCELLENT! The smashed sweet potatoes YUCK! The mac and cheese was BLAH. Overall it was not worth $60 for lunch portion with two kids also eating.

Pros: Great Gaucamole, but this is a BBQ place
Cons: Mesquite not my thing!

Way above average. Best steak value in So Cal. 5 Star Rating - World class

I couldn't believe we were actuallly going to wait 45 minutes to eat here, but it was worth it. I rarely eat steak outside of the big steak restaurants, but Wood Ranch has one of the best ribeyes I've ever had. I'm not going to pay $40 anymore for a piece of meat on a plate. Here, I got the steak -- more than I could finish -- a salad and a side dish of sweet potatoes that was outrageously good. I don't like waiting, but I can figure that part out. This is one great restaurant.

AVERAGE RESTAURANT WITH LONG LINES 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The tri tip salad is great along with the rolls, but everything else is just average. The ambience is cool for a family but the wait is too long

Pros: Tri tip salad
Cons: long wait
