Filthy place, rude staff, and incompetent veterinarians--save your pet's life and find a real animal hospital. This has become a horrible excuse for a veterinary clinic.

The only people who give it a good rating work there. They killed my dog over a year ago, and I have yet to hear from Dr. Baum. They're not cheap, by the way. The prices seem low, but they add an office visit charge for everything, so add another $30.00 to whatever they quote you. Better yet, go elsewhere.

Doesn't deserve even one star.

I recently visited this place with my badly wounded dog. My dog got hit by a car the morning I took him in and had a large wound that was bleeding badly. The staff was terrible, they were as helpful as bunch of middle school children volunteering their time. Especially the Over Weight White Female with Blonde Hair, she was very rude and had no sense of urgency as did all of them. They seemed to be more concerned with texting, socializing amongst themselves ( talking about what they were going to have for lunch ) and trying to sell insurance packages to desperate clients and pets. The prices were extremely unreasonable, but when put in that position, you don't have much of a choice and believe me they know it! I asked them if they were sure that they could help me and they assured me that they could. I waited for 2 hours before I realized that my dog would soon die if I didn't make a move to another "hospital facility". They did not allow me to ask a simple question to Dr. Baum, almost as if he were God and untouchable. From what I read on here, he's a dickhead and I'm glad I didn't meet with him because he would of remembered me! By this time my blue jean pants are now completely red from my dog's blood and I had to get out of the place, fast! I took my dog to a not so nice neighbor hood off Slauson in Los Angeles compared to the "high class area" I was in, but they had passion for what they were doing and saved my dog's life!! The price was very reasonable and they even offered to keep my dog for the weekend and monitor his situation. I highly recommend Dr. Bahl, the hospital is called: " Green Dog & Cat Hospital" address is 1544-46 W. Slauson Los Angles, Ca 90047 and the tel # is 323/753/8440By the way I would give this "business" no stars but the site is requiring me to chose at least one star.

Although Dr. Baum did help clear up an ear problem for my dog, I found him very rude if not irresponsible the next time I went there. He gave me a prescription without complete instructions. When I noticed this and asked the front desk person to whether I could speak with him again, his reasoning was "I'm not going to write you a novel, that's why I explained it to you in the exam room". No medicine is dispensed whether human or animal without complete written instructions even after being discussed in the exam room. I had to look for a bottle from another vet to figure out how to administer the same medicine. And funny thing, this previous vet was able to fit all the information on the perscription label.
I think he's rude, defensive and moody. I'm certainly not going back to be treated like this. He was also rude when I tried to ask simple questions about my dog's health.

Center Sinai is inexpensive as far as vet care goes and offers a good health insurance plan that only works at their practice. But the way they practice veterinary medicine is really sub par. But I guess if you cannot afford better care, Center Sinai is better than no vet care at all.

My dog was having an upset stomache when she was seen by Dr. Baum. However, none of the treatment worked and my dog ended up being in an emergency room. It turned out to be an upset stomache, but if right things were given to her when she was still in fairly good health, she wouldn't have been sufferring in the emergency room. Now, I have to pay thousands of hospital bills on top of the $200 that Dr. Baum charged me. Please think what's good for your pet and you and go somewhere else.

I have been a patient here for many years and always happy until now. I was shocked when I was dispensed a so-called perscription dog cream for my dog and it turned out to be over the counter 1% hydrocortisone cream that I buy for myself. I was over charged and when I asked Dr. Baum about it he told me I was out of line to question what his staff did. The front staff was very rude and I am ready to make a formal complaint with the California Vet board.

I had a similar experience with Center Sinai and Dr. Baum. I started taking my dog there because it was reasonably priced despite the fact that it was an inconvenient location and I always waited for quite some time when there. But finally when something serious happend and took my dog in and not told Dr. Baum was on vacation but instead a vet that seemed to be very young and inexperienced not only did she end up giving me wrong diagnosis but when I went in again and insisted on waiting till Dr. Baum was back in office and told him about how unhappy I was and he charged me again for visit and for new medication and then basically told me "oh well" and when I said I would not come back cause I was not happy he just looked at me!! Horrible feeling when I left there....would def not recommend!!

We have two puppies which we bring to Center Sinai Pet Hospital for routine vaccinations and I can't say that there's been one pleasant experience... but since they were usually in-n-out visits, we didn't complain. They are reasonably priced, however, completely unprofessional. Our puppy recently suffered from a minor injury and was brought in for an exam and x-rays. We were given a quote over the phone but when we brought our puppy in, they performed a series of services without our consent and more than tripled our quoted amount. When we spoke with the vet and owner, Dr. Baum, regarding our shock and dismay, he was extremely rude and had complete disregard when speaking of us as clients and patients. He did not once try to rectify our complaints and arrogantly claimed to be very successful as is and did not have a care or concern about our satisfaction as clients. We will never return to that establishment and would never recommend anyone to that self-proclaimed 'successful' vet. Save yourself the stress and skip over this place - the minimal savings definitely does NOT outweigh the horrible service.

In 2 instances the doctors at this facility charged me for services that they never cleared with me first before doing. In both instances the Vet told me he had to take my dog to the back briefly and when I got to the cash register, I found out in one instance that he had given my dog medicine that I had not approved or known about (i wondered what may have happened later that night if I brought him home and he had a reaction and I didn't know why) and the second time he was taken to the back and he had his ears cleaned and with out by approval or knowledge that I would be charged for it.. The customer service is good but it doen't really help when the Vet that get's over on his patients owns the facilities. There ends up being no one who can help :(
I will never go back.

I have Volunteered at Center Sinai Animal Hospital for more than four months. I have been helping them in the hospital and find that it is clean, staff are very nice, And the doctors know what they are talking about. All the Veternarians at Center Sinai Animal Hospital know what they are talking about. There are alot of dogs and Cats that come in very sick and the doctor find out what the the problem is. Often I have seen dogs and Cats that are sick and the Veternarians treat the problem. The next time I have seen a improvement in the animal health. Two years ago I brought my dog in because he could not stand on his back feet without being in pain. They found out he had a sprained tendon and gave me medication. Only after a couple of days my dog started to feel better . After a week he was running around like nothing happened. All the doctors know what they are talking about and treat the animals problems and they get better.

PROS: Hard working staff and didicated Veternarians taking care of all animals.
CONS: Can be a little pricy if needed alot of things done.
