I went to Bert Torres because of the previous review. I didn't work much with him, so the other review might be more accurate. I thought the information he gave wasn't actually that useful since I'm already fairly experienced with taxes. He's quite conservative, so if you want that in an accountant he might be right for you. For me, he cost me more than he saved me.

I was very unhappy with my tax accountant last year. I actively searched for a new one and have been extremely pleased with Bert Torres at Irvin Abrahamson. Bert is thorough, conscientious, and takes the time to work with you on your own particular situation. He is proactive about making sure you understand your options and takes an active interest . He is very knowlegable and is helping establish my own business from a tax and accounting perspective. I would recommend him to anyone who wants diligent, steadfast customer service and solid tax and accounting advice.
