Sushi King

It's the sushi restaurant on the westside where you don't really have to dress up for. The food is good and moderately priced. I would suggest you try the dynomite! It's sinfully good.

The sushi is pretty good here - not incredible but certainly good enough for a decent night out. The one thing that I still don't get is how come they don't serve edamame? It must be a purist Soup-Nazi kind of thing. The string beans with sesame are a good substitute. Now that I think of it I may have to take them down to two stars. The spicy tuna rolls are not even spicy. A crime in my book. Still the sake and beer taste great.

The spicy tuna hand roll are generous and delicious. Their specialty, an appetizer, a cooked seabass marinated in a delicious sauce with perfect green beans with a touch of sesame oil is scumptious to say the least! The service is quick & efficient although maybe lacking a little more knowledge of the english language

A fantastic sushi restaurant that is on par with LA's luminaries (e.g., Nozawa, Matsuhisa). The atmosphere is limited, but the food is fantastic. Don't let the odd location and cheesy name fool you!
