This place has some great tex mex food! It was the first place we at in Palm Springs and we keep going back! Their chimichangas are wonderful. Great enchiladas and tacos too.

This is where it all started peeps, all the Las Casuelas love sprung from here. Seriously these restaurants have the best mexican food in all of So Cal.

I grew up in Palm Springs and loved the treat of getting to go to Las Casuelas for their Chicken Taquitos! It is a small restaurant on Palm Canyon Drive but don't let the small size fool you. The dishes are big on flavor as well as portions. I'm going to have to plan a trip back home now.

We use to live in Palm Springs and always went to the original Las Casuelas. When we moved, we went back at least once a year and we always had to go to the original Las Casuelas. It's small and unpretentious, but the food is great and my absolute favorite is the appetizer, Guacamole Special. I would eat that every week if we still lived there. If you need more atmosphere, then go to one of the other Las Casuelas, but we've gone to the original for 30 years and still love it. I don't know if Mary is still there, but the recipes should be the same.

Favorite PS destination Restaurant

My favorite place to visit, whenever we are in Palm Springs area. The amazing thing is that no matter how many times I have been there, the food has been pretty consistent and the drinks, well they are always tops. I guess management is on the ball.
Love the atmosphere, hate knowing that so many people already know about it and we have to wait in line to enjoy it, but that's the price you pay for success I suppose!
Other than a few odds and ends... a bit hot and a little more A/C would be great, the place is tops.
Pros: Consistently great place to visit and bring friends
Cons: Waiting in line. But that's what happens with great places.

My family has been coming here every summer for over 20 years.The food is always good,and its real mexican food.Not the stuff you get at some of the "trendy" places.This location is where people go to eat, not dance etc.We have always been happy there.We are going back Sun-Tue nights,next week again.8\27\04

Maybe it's because I'm a NYer, but this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten in north of the border. Sizable portions at reasonable prices.
The only disappointment was the flan portion was a bit dinky for the price.
The chunky guac is delicious.
