Shae is amazing. She was highly recommended by many on the PAMP site (Palo Alto Menlo Park Moms) and she is the best in the area. I am very picky and had tried a few places with no luck.

The Industry is a great salon (Boccas). I have been going there for six years. The stylist I see is former owner June Wilson. I have long curly hair. She does a great job at cutting and coloring my hair. I leave the salon feeling up to date and confident.

I spotted this place because everyone coming out had really good hair. My colorist does a "custom color" mainly to blend in the "unpigmented" sections and I get a lot of compliments. In fact one stranger, mistaking me for her friend in a parking lot said, "Oh, you're not Susan... your hair is much better."

June has been cutting and coloring my hair for 10 years and I would not trust anyone else to do it. I have very fine hair that is difficult to work with and I have had bad experiences in the past with other stylists. She is so good at what she does, I would recommend her to all my family, friends and co-workers. She will remain my hair stylist/colorist indefinitely.

I have been having June cut my hair for about ten years and she always does a fabulous job. I have baby fine hair and not a lot of it. About three years ago she finally convinced me to color it to create more texture. WOW what a difference. June is the best hairdresser in the Bay Area. I am a real doofus when it comes to styling my hair and she always gives me a "user friendly" cut that looks fantastic! I can appreciate that it may cost more than Supercuts -June goes to hair conventions and classes all over the country to stay at the top of her game. It is SOOOOOOOO worth the price to be the diva she makes me in to!

Tony consistently gives me great haircuts and color. No easy feat given my fast-growing curly hair! He creatively combined two shades of hair color to recreate my original dark brown without looking inky black or that "covering my gray" blonde.
Moreover, Tony can listen to my vague description of an effect I want to achieve and then make it happen. He seeks feedback on how the cut worked and NEVER reacts defensively if I seek a change. Tony is TOP NOTCH.

I used insiderpages.com to find these guys... and YES they really are that good. I've only been in the area a few weeks and didn't know anyone to even ask about hair dressers... THANKS insiderpages.com!

Book early as they are VERY busy. From the phone call I knew they were going to be good, all the staff are very professional and friendly. They know their stuff!! They are not cheap, (mind you I needed a complete hair overhaul) but they are worth every penny!

I was lucky enough to get my hair cut/coloured by Tony. All I can say is... if you get him, explain what you want- he GETS it. I was really nervous and kept second guessing but in the end I just let him do his THANG and it turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it.

I am so glad I found them here and am looking forward to my next cut. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed! xxDom

Boccas is a very friendly place to get your hair done. The atmosphere is fun and all the stylist are very professional and experienced. June Wilson consistently gives me a great haircut and color. She knows how to bring out the curls in my hair and create a style that's easy to maintain and feels right for me. The color always comes out so perfectly natural looking. Its worth the 30 mile drive i make every six weeks or so. I looked for a great hair stylist for a long time before finding June. She's awesome!

I had a neighbor that was coloring and cutting my hair for years, and was referred to Joanna Ladd at Bocca's and had the best hair style EVER! She was patient, listened to what I was looking for and she created a master piece!

I have always enjoyed my experience at Bocca's. The front desk is professional and personable. I love Tony! He is up to date on all of the new styles and always listens to what I want. I used to have a more traditional style and now have gone a little more funky... and I love it. I love my hair cut and my hair color is just amazing!

A friend at work referred me to Brandon at Bocca's and my hair has never looked so good. When I'm in his chair I feel like he really cares about how I look and listens to what I want.

He takes his time and gives an excellent cut, and then finishes with the best blow dry - I walk out of there looking like a celebrity. He charges $95 a cut, which isn't cheap, and I have to schedule pretty far in advance, but it is all well worth it. An excellent hair stylist and a great guy. Highly recommended. Oh, and did I mention the scalp massage he gives - it alone is all worth it.

I have been reviewing the coments of other customers and plan to make an appointment. I have short hair and need to find a stylist who can give me a haircut that will last until my next visit.

I had an excellent hairstylist for many years, unfortunately she has moved out of the area and I need to find someone I can trust with my hair.

I will post a review after my visit and experience.

I get my hair done from John. He's been a terrific stylist (for haircuts and color). He has a good sense of style and is really attentive. I would definitely recommend him.

June has been my hairdresser for about 15 years, and I was thrilled to see her open her own salon, Bocca's.

I have wimpy hair and she always gives me a wonderful cut and style- I won't go anywhere else!

About ten years ago, I decided to start paying the going rate for a real haircut, not the usual $15-$20 from the local mow, blow and go. Even though i cringe everything I write the check, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

June has always cut my hair extremely well. I have a weird situation where I have thick hair that's wavy underneath and straight as a pencil on top. So it's kind of a trick to cut my hair so that it doesn't pull itself down into a flathead. June gives a fabulous cut and really manages to find the balance between what's in style and what actually works for me/you.

As for other positives: The appointments usually start on time, they call with a reminder the day before (crucial!), and the space is always clean and decorated with a rotating collection of cheery art. I don't color but I know women who won't go to anyone else for their highlights and dying. I always feel great when I leave.

I highly recommend Brandon as a stylist at this salon. He charges $90 for a haircut and is worth every penny. He listens to what you want, your lifestyle (how much time do you have in the morning ), but also takes the basic cut to the next level. A great cut = no need to spend a lot of money on hair products. I can't recommend highly enough!

If you're looking for a talented hair color specialist (that gets it right) in Palo Alto look no further! I highly recommend Dee Wallis at Boccas Hair Specialists. She is great with hair and will get you the look that is just right for you.
