Me and my friends been eating at Maki Yaki for over 2 years and they've always had fresh delicious sushi and rolls. Their terriyaki beef is real tasty too.

P.S. Oksana I think you're talking about Sushi delivery USA where they have bad fish. :)

I normally dont write reviews but after reading askoksana's review, I had to respond. So you didn't like their sushi, but reordered again 7months later? Hmm, you're the one who seem fishy too me. I ve been eating at Maki Yaki for over 2

Pros: Delicious sushi and fast, friendly service

Cons: they dont serve alcohol

And anyone who has sushi delivered and expects it to be fresh is clearly off their rocker. Going to indulge in sushi, (and even affordable sushi or that matter), is an excursion where the presence of both the diner or guest and the chef as well as a waiter are all expected to be located collectively within their respective means. Simply put, people can't be THAT antisocial and lazy, can they? I LOVE this place. It's moderately priced, and it's de-lish. Take-out option has never posed a problem for me either.

This is a takeout place that delivered warm yellowtail sashimi on a day when the outside temperature was over 105 F. They did not bother to supply their poor delivery kid with an insulated carrier or ice. They actually packed the miso soups in the same bag as the sushi.

We called to complain, they said they'd call back, but they never did. I've never had such a bad experience with a takeout restaurant.

The rest of the sushi was not fresh (dull in color) & the tuna sushi was a bright red (like it had been treated w/ CO2 gas). We were afraid to eat it & threw it out.
Avoid this terrible place.

Pros: GREAT take-out sushi, good value for your money, good maintenance sushi

Cons: Not a lot of seating and the ambiance is a bit sterile.

This is the worst sushi we have ever had. We get sushi delivered weekly from Sushi Delivery in Valley Village, they were closed so we tried Maki Yaki. The sashimi, the sushi combos, tempura & hot miso soups were all crammed into the same
