Turnip Rose

My sister had her wedding reception at Turnip Rose in February after having been to a reception there herself in the past year. It's on the corner of Newport Blvd and 19th in what we call a "Hotel California" type building. Once you step in the gates, the magic starts. The service is excellent. There are people everywhere to guide you thru the parking to the actual site. The appetizers are spectacular, the sliders are the best I've had anywhere. The meal itself was great. the staff was very attentive. They are famous for their strawberry bar. These strawberries are dipped in various chocolates and injected with different liquers. YUM!!

This event center is located in a beautiful business complex. The staff from the event center were very helpful and service oriented. Our event went off without an issue. The tenants in the other businesses complained about our event so we were unable to rebook. Avoid daytime hours if you want to rebook.

The very first time I tried the Turnip Rose, they were located on Main and MacArthur in Santa Ana. The dining room at that location was nice and only had a lunch menu that catered mostly to business type clients. They have since moved to a beautiful corner lot on 19th street in Newport Beach. The food is 5 star quality with dishes you might see on Top Chef. The dining room is so elegant that many wedding receptions are held there. Very, very nice.
