Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else. Mercury wanted the damages assessed here and, well, we were wooed by the smiley faces and the fact that it is on the KCRA A List. I don't know how they got on that list but I'm sure it wasn't for delivering your car 2 days late.\r\n\r\nWhen I turned in the car (1 week and 2 days ago) I was told that it would be ready Monday or Tuesday but that they would make me a priority since I'm paying for a portion of my rental car fees. So I figured Tuesday since shops usually say 5-6 days to make things sound better knowing full-well that it will take 6 days. No problem. Well, I called Tuesday and was told that they needed to get a tire replaced and it wouldn't be enough time to get it back and detail then safety check. A little disappointed but I can deal with that. Well, they had the car all day Wednesday with only the tires needing to be worked out. I called in the afternoon. Was told that they would call me back - no call. I called again almost an hour later and was told that it wasn't going to be ready by end of day and that the tire shop didn't get around to it.\r\n\r\nThat is unacceptable!!! Here I am told that I was a priority and they treated my car today with just the opposite care. Heck - I could have arranged for the tires to be replaced and balanced by end of day today.
