pretty awesome skate shop  4 Star Rating - Very good

They have cheap skateboards that are really good and neat to look at. they boards are durable, not cheap in material but cheap in price. Plus they have nice and durable clothing.

Great shop. Great staff.  5 Star Rating - World class

I quit skateboarding in about 1986, but my brothers talked me back into it in fall of 2006. Having been out of the scene for 20 years, I had no idea what to get. My little brother took me around the corner to DlxSF, and the staff gave me a lot of good feedback, let me stand on a few boards to get the feel for them, gave me advice on berings, truck size and wheels, and even put the grip tape on, and cut a cool wavy design in it to help tell the tail from the nose. And they gave me some free stickers, to boot.

I was delighted with what I got (a Real - Ace of Spades, 8.976 inch deck with Indies and some medium spitfires), as a good mix of the old school wide decks that I was once used to, and the new school design.

I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone who's shopping for a stick in San Francisco.

Skate Store  4 Star Rating - Very good

This store is your typical, nothing special, skateboarding store. They have a good selection of boards, shoes and an alright selection of clothing. The guys that work there are, of course, too cool to help you, but you can find most of what you are looking for there. Also, Delux is based out of SF so you run the chance of seeing some pros when you go in.

Good stuff. Bad Attitude.  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The staff here can be a little unhelpful if you don't know what exactly you want or aren't a die hard. For me it's just a hobbie and I felt a little out of place. They have all the right brands though, REAL, Spitfire etc. I've heard it is the best in the city, but maybe only if yoyu don't mind the attitude.
