Recently I visited The Rubber Ducky Store at the Ferry Landing. I was delighted with the variety of adorable clothing and accessories for children. As well as the friendly atmosphere. The Rubber Ducky Store is a grandparents dream!!

First of all, the Ferry Landing Marketplace in Coronado is a spectacular place to be. Situated right on the Coronado-San Diego bay, you get unobstructed views of the downtown San Diego skyline while shopping and enjoying the warm southern California breeze.
Rubber Ducky is unlike any store there. Its brightly colored walls compliment the fun and quirky merchandise that caters almost exclusively to babies and toddlers. It's the perfect place to shop for a baby shower either as the host or a guest, and a great place all around to find unique and quality items for the little angels in your life.
The store has an open, inviting floorplan that will make you want to check out every inch of wall space. Kids will love shopping there too. There is a great selection of toys that will catch even the most discerning child's attention.
And you have to check out the diaper cake station! The staff at Rubber Ducky will help you create a customized diaper cake (the base made of rolled up diapers stacked in 3-4 tiers) filled with goodies for a special mom-to-be. The best part is the diapers are all usable, so once the gift is opened, it can serve a very practical purpose long after the party is over.
I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone visiting Coronado, and even for the locals like myself.

My Kids Voted, this is the best little place to spend an afternoon in Coronado. The Center down there on the water has just finished their year long rennovation and now you can just sit along their cool new pathways and fountains, mess around at the Rubber Ducky shop with your kids (of course buy a rubber duck), have a cup of coffee and walk along the bay. There is a nice pathway for bikes or roller blades that starts where the ferry drops off and goes all the way around, under the Coronado bridge and along the golf course. We had a lot of fun and fresh air.
