The roast beef sandwich is delicious. It is such a small shop, you would never know its even there, but the food is awesome. sandwiches hold up great if you take them to-go for the beach or a picnic.

This is the best Deli in Ocean Beach! I used to get the eggplant parm sandwich there on a regular basis when I lived down the street. I miss Pomas so much!

This is the BEST deli EVER!! I have been eating there for over 30 years - they use Salunto rolls, made at Salunto's Bakery in Little Italy,and the best roast beef ever. Meatball sandwiches and pizza sandwiches are awesome also. They also have incredible garlic bread dripping with butter and chunks of garlic. Recently moved further north after living in Point Loma forever, so I REALLY miss Poma's! My kids can't come up to see me unless they bring me a Poma's roast beef sandwich.

Probably the best sandwiches around. They use really good crusty bread and are generous with the meats. The meatball sandwich is the best around. Located in OB, but not the best for parking. Worth the visit.

Best Deli in San Diego! To bad I live so far from it! Have been going there for about 25 years! Best sandwich hands down is the Hot Roast Beef with cheese! On a roll, with mayo, hot juicy roast beef is added and topped with cheese! Baked in the oven for a few to get the bread toasted! Topped with lettuce, tomatoes and pepercinis! Take it down the street to the pier or over to sunset cliffs and you have a great meal! Tons of other great food and deli subs! Would recommend it to anyone! If you have never tried it, its a must! I suggest getting the sandwich before sunset and heading down to Sunset Cliffs and eating it while the sun goes down! Great food with a great view! Staff is excellent and friendly! Call it in and it will be ready when you arrive! Excellent prices! I hope that Deli never closes its doors! Its a family tradition!
