A multiple winner of several local dining awards, we have been the Island's destination for fine dining since 1992. Host Christos Marras and his gracious staff welcome you for lunch and dinner. Come relax at a casual bar bistro table by the cozy fireplace, settle into an intimate booth in the dining room or enjoy a private party in one of 2 beautiful banquet spaces. An array of succulent steaks, amazing pasta dishes, Greek specialties, the freshest seafood and daily specials all await to tempt you. The signature dish Rack of Lamb is the best anywhere, hands down! Superb wines are available by the glass and bottle, or if you're in the mood for a cocktail, try one expertly crafted by Dino. Finish your wonderful dining experience with a scrumptious dessert and a glass of port. We look forward to seeing you soon.
I really like to go here for a group meeting of sort. The upstairs room is perfect to hold 50 people. The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable.

This restaurant is located in a busy section of Alameda so many people drive right past it, I noticed it so I decided to go in and have dinner. I was greeted by the very gracious host Christos and shown to a table in the unpretentious dining room. I was greeted by a very nice waiter who attended my needs perfectly throughout dinner. I tried the Moussaka which is a favorite of mine and I wasn't disappointed. The dish lived up to my expectations of flavor and consistency, it was delicious! After dinner I wandered into the bar and had an after dinner drink with the other bar goers. Everyone was friendly and jovial. Dino the bartender was also gracious and entertaining, he seems to hold court with his customers and they all respond in a bantering manner. I was a little reminded of Cheers the old sitcom. There is a large fireplace in the bar that makes it cozy and a big screen T.V. in the corner with sports events so it feels like you are in a very social living room. I felt right at home during my stay and I give a toast to Christos and his staff for making my visit memorable and enjoyable! Cheers!
Pros: Great food, inviting people and restaurant, easy parking behind building.
Cons: Busy area of Alameda
