I am very comfortable about this place. I love that they have so many great meals to choose from. I particularly love the beef meals because it tastes so good.
5I had the most pleasant experience ever at the Shanghai Chinese Cuisine. They have great food and good service most of the time.
5Jimy cooks the food himself, so the quality never waivers. The place is clean and pretty. Even the fortune cookies are the top quality! say no more, Cedar and Herndon by John's Incredible

Pros: fresh, no msg, beautiful and clean
Cons: not very fast, but it isn't Panda
The Californian version of the Asian Chicken Salad is unique and Shanghai has the best rendition. I cannot speak for any of the other entrees, but the Chinese Chicken Salad is awesome. It's item no. 1 under specialties of the house and comes in small and large. The small comes piled high on a large platter and is large enough to share with accompanying entrees. The large is even bigger and difficult to finish, even with the biggest appetite. Service is great, but there will be a wait at peak times.

Pros: Great Salad!
Cons: We don't have these in Texas
Shanghai has the best orange chicken of any I've tried in the Fresno/Clovis area. It's tangy and crispy and made with whole dried chillies. Yummmmm.

My family and I are regular customers of Shanghai. We love their food and go there for all of our birthdays. We love the large round tables they offer for big groups. We feel the price is right and we always order extra to take home! The staff has always been very friendly to us. The interior could use some updating, but otherwise we always have a great time there as a family. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

i have been many times and i personally dont think the food is good. it cost way to much. and is rather plain i think. the last time i went the service wasnt good either.
2I have heard some very good things about this place. However, when I went, I wasn't happy with my food. I was very satisfied with the service but the chicken chop suey I ordered wasn't the best. I have been meaning to go back and give them another shot. I am not ready to write them off.

I love Shanghai's Crispy Chicken!! It's great and less fattening than Fried Chicken. The potstickers are excellent and the service is great. Of course on the weekends, you have to wait a little longer, but I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes. In fact, on the weekdays, I just walk right in and get seated right away. I love the Crispy Honey Wontons at the end of the meal. I love it!!!

This is one of the most popular and successful Chinese restaurants in town, winning ""best"" Chinese food consistently. Very Americanized Chinese food, but not bad if you know what the better Chinese dishes are. There are some real good ones. One of the worst features is that you get rushed to clear out so that they can seat the next customer. They clear your dishes, ask whether you want additional dishes, hand you your check, all in a rush. May leave bad taste in your mouth if you are looking for a leisurely dining experience.

Pros: Some good dishes
Cons: Rushed and rushed
This place is over rated! In the restaurant there are tons of best Chinese food awards but the Chinese food is horrible. I have consumed authentic Chinese food and this stuff is the Americanized version. The decor in the restaurant was very cheesy and over done. I would not recommed this place at all.

This is an OK restaurant, but it's vastly over rated,\nIf you like Asian food with an American tast, then it's fine. However, if you'd like more of a true Asian flare, try some other place.

Excellent food, great service, ambiance is a little stark. Highly recommend the Orange Chicken, absolute best I've had. Also must try the Braised Green Beans and House Special Pan Fried Noodles.

This hole in the wall will surprise you. Even with its bland decor, the great food and awesome service will leave you impressed.
