Move over LaBelle, Hello Destino Spa. What a hidden SHANGRI-LA!!! Amazing customer service and my masseuse Sam was out of this world. The massage I got was extremely therapeutic and I have to say, I forgot all about my problems under his spell of his magical hands. A must VISIT spa. I felt like I was somewhere else...the ambiance just takes you away. The place was so clean and friendly. Worth every dime. I highly recommend Destino. Forget LaBelle. I have been wasting my money at the wrong spa. Destino has now acquired a new regular client. Request for SAM with the magical hands.

When I received the massage I asked her to focus on my shoulders and she spent all of 5-10 minutes on the upper back and zero time on the top of my shoulder. Needless to say, the kinks never got worked out. I also had to leave early due to an infant at home and wanted to come back to do my facial and they wanted to change an extra 50% plus the full price. Oh heck NO. The Spa ?decor? had a lot to be desired and I wasn?t overly impressed with the steam room. It Looked like your average shower.

It has taken me ten years to find a local masseuse who can use enough pressure for her treatment to be therapeutic, yet no so deep as to be painful. Charina is fantastic and so are her knowledge and techniques--she asked me what my trouble spots were and I told her the main ones, but she found the others intuitively. Worth every last penny.

Every visit to Destino Spa has been an amazing, relaxing escape from my super busy schedule. The decor is very inviting and I love to shop the spa products. It has been not only the perfect place to relax, but a great place to get birthday and holiday gifts for friends! Always time for shopping!

I love Destino's! The staff is amazing, so professional and experienced. When Christine (owner) greets you at the front desk with a warm smile you know that you are in for a relaxing experience. From the moment you step in to Destino's, you know that it is an upscale establishment and that you are in for a treat. As soon as I get there, all outside stress just melts away. Christine has created a relaxing "get away" retreat from lifes busy schedules. They offer many different types of services and Christine always has seasonal promotions that are conveniently e-mailed to you if you are on their mailing list. I love that they think of all the small details.

Every time I come to Destino, I am amazed how much I can relax just walking through the doorway. Christine Rivera has created a Asian inspired oasis where she and her staff personally attend to the details that makes visitors feel like treasured guests. I have recieved many but not all of the services offered. Staff members are obviously well trained and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience.

Stumbling into Destino was unexpected! Walking into this Hidden Treasure was an experience! Being welcomed by a warm and gracious person at the front counter, with a huge smile, saying how are you, offerring something to drink, then asking how i am, and how she could help me (for all she knew, I could have been the mailman). Being from out of town, and not having an appointment, I inquired about massage. Turns out they were booked. Instead was offered a tour of the Spa, then lead to a relaxation room, to read over the brochure. I travel frequently to the bay area, and although I was never able to get an appointment that day, I felt very comfortable that Destino is the place I want to come back to fr a massage. I am anticipating my journey back to this little far and away place.

I went to Paige for my first waxing. I had some apprehension, but found out I had no reason to worry. After having my legs and underarms waxed, I trusted Paige to do a Brazilian, but I hadn't booked that in advance and it couldn't be worked in. Paige did a great job of making me feel comfortable.

After the waxing I had a Destino Journey facial with Julie. Julie also did a fantastic job, starting with a foot soak and massage, hand massage with heated mittens after, and a great facial. Both Paige and Julie are absolutely recommended!

Found this spa through citysearch. I was looking for a place that did traditional microdermabrasion. I wanted the kind that blasted crystal stream onto the face. Destino was the only one I could find on the internet in the Bay Area. (Later on, I found another one in Palo Alto's Town & Country).

When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly staff. The waiting room had great atmosphere although it was a bit cramped. I was led into the spa room by Caroline. She did great job on the microderm. The suction from the machine was a bit too strong. So I had a little broken capillaries on my cheek. Other than that, it was a great experience and I purchased a series of 6 microderm on the spot.

Pros: Friendly staff, great atmosphere

Cons: small relaxing room, a bit expensive

Even though I have always enjoyed facials, I must admit that the effects were not really lasting in the past and my face would eventually break out. This until I found Destino and their truly expert staff. I get consistent compliments every time I visit the facialist at Destino and my skin does feel re-energized and smooth for days afterwards.

I found this spa through citysearch and decided to give it a try. They have monthly packages available, and I was able to try a little of everything they offered; including a massage, facial, and soak. Then, even though I was nervous, I had my make-up done for an event, and it turned out great! I didn't even have to fix anything (which I always do afterwards!) I highly reccommend this spa, and already have my next appointments booked.

My husband arranged a spa day for me as a gift. It started with a customized massage and soak in a giant tub that was full of bubbles and candle-light. From there I recieved a customized facial. I was shocked by the attention to detail, and the fact that everything was customized for me. It really made me feel special, I think I know what I will get him for V'day!

What a great spa! I've been coming here for the past 2 years and have always had a great experience. I come frequently for facials and massages. I've also recommended Destino Spa to my friends and family that live in the bay area. The ambiance is very soothing and tranquil with fabulous spa treatments. Truly the most relaxing spa for me! The staff has always been Very helpful and Very accommodating.

I had a facial here, and for the $95, it's not worth it! The girl who did my facial was very uneducated and pushed a ton of product on me. I felt like they looked at me as a dollar sign instead of a person. I do NOT recommend.

Destino is a wonderful place. The ambience is first-rate with soothing sights and smells. Despite the location and high quality, the staff is courteous and down-to-earth, without much attitude. Whenever I have called to make an appointment, the staff member is not just friendly, but helpful as well, recommending an ideal treatment for my situation. Usually after facials either I see no change, or my skin has broken out, but both times I have been to Destino, I could actually see the difference for days. The hot stone massage is out of this world. I would definitely return.

This spa is fabulous to say the least... My treatment started with an exotic scrub, a detox wrap, and an AMAZING facial! The facial was the best I have ever had... which is saying a lot for a picky spa goer like myself!!
The smells, sounds, and professionalism of the staff left me wanting more! Not to mention I forgot I wasn't even on vacation... This was truly an experience to remember. I will be back at LEAST every month! Worth it!

This is a beautiful spa with great amenities. I had a scrub and a massage and it was one of the best treatments I've had! Each massage room has it's own steam room!! You feel like you're away from it all even though your not!
