West Portal Books

I've been to West Portal Books a few times with friends, and i can never find ANYTHING I need. The store is very cluttered, and after I bought one book, I requested to sell back a few books. The gentleman who helped me told me to bring them by very nicely, but, when I brought them in right away, his facial expression quickly changed and he told me they were not buying back books at this time. I will not recommend this store to anyone, because not only are the prices very expensive for USED books, but the people who work there are extremely rude and really do not appreciate your buisiness.

I was not impressed when I entered the bookstore on West Portal right across the street from the Empire Cinema. I had heard alot of good things about this bookstore. The lady behind the counter barely looked up at me wen I entered the store. The store inside had a very distinct smell, the smell of old and dingy wood. Everything was very cluttered. I could not find any themes or neatness to the store. And the used books were in poor condition yet really overpriced.
