I've found hair -- and believe me, all kinds of hair -- in my food before but finding a "finger condom" in our spinach/artichoke dip was perhaps the grossest find to date. We were all in disbelief when my friend dug out the finger portion of what appeared to be a food service glove out with her chip. It blended in so well with the dip that it wasn't discovered until we were almost done. I mean how could the food service worker who was preparing the dip NOT know that a portion of his glove had come off?! The manager apologized and asked if we wanted a replacement but who in their right mind would want to eat that again? Nothing after that tasted any good. I'm not sure if it was because of the whole "finger condom" incident but their food just lacked the same taste as our previous visits. I can honestly say that we won't be going back there for years to come.

This place is not worth the money. It was nothing special. Ordered Thai Chicken. Menu says it comes with 3 chicken breasts. It was actually three circular pieces of chicken cut out of a chicken breast, not a whole chicken breast.

Cons: Boring, bland food and presentation

LA Food Show is a trendy place. The food and service is good. I like the salmon, very tasty. A bit pricey, but hey, it's Manhattan Beach. You may even get some celebs dining there. Many times I have run into players for the Lakers eating there.

I was in Los Angeles staying near LAX for work-related training, I didn't rent a car, and most nights I was just too tired to try and get out of the hotel. On my last night in town, I found that there was a free shuttle to the Manhattan Beach area. I was ready for something different!

I ended up at the Manhattan Village Shopping Center, was hungry, and decided to try LA Food Show. It looked, and was, rather crowded. I was told I would have to wait about 10 minutes, but I was seated quite a bit faster than that. The atmosphere was trendy, and this was well reflected by my waiter Raige. He was friendly, he made sure my unsweetened tea was never empty (he got the "unsweetened" right without having to ask again), and he answered every question I had about my food without the condescension I've felt at similar restaurants.

I had asparagus soup for my appetizer, garlic-ginger noodles with chicken for my entree, and key lime cheesecake for dessert. Everything was good, but just a bit light on the spices. The prices were more than I'm used to spending on a meal out, but considering the area, they were reasonable. I'd go again, especially on an expense account.

This restaurant is trendy and popular with very good service and very good food.

The Thai chicken breasts are especially good and when they let me substitute garlic mashed potatoes for the rice, I am in heaven. I love that peanut sauce.

A fun place to go with a friend.

If you can't find something to eat on this menu, you must not be hungry! They have a huge selection and everything is good. On top of that, it's kid friendly and there's plenty of parking.

Wonderful service, fantastic menu. If you're tired of all the "foo-foo" and just want good food, you will love this place! A wide variety, great atmosphere. Go early, gets very crowded! They have cozy seats by the bar if want something
