Mani's Bakery & Cafe

....ok service...food you could easily make at home...for tons of money!!! Worst breakfast I've had in a while...and I spent almost $20 for it....and was still hungry. I am creating accounts to let people know how bad this place is....that is how much I hated it. I did not try the baked goods...only breakfast....but it was so bad and oiverpriced that I feel the need to let people know.

I think I prefer the Santa Monica location, which is roomier. At lunch time, this spot is filled with those taking their power lunches. The pastries are still good and I like the variety they offer.

I am a vegetarian and tried this place out and thought the baked goods were just OK. The pastry was a little stale tasting to me, but perhaps it's just because I'm not used to vegan baked goods. If you're a meat/egg/dairy eater, I would just go to a regular bakery instead.

The vegan carrot cupcakes alone are worth the trip to the Westside. Viva Mani's!!

If you are looking for your fix of double chocolate cakes and other sugary desserts than Mani's is NOT the place for you. On the other hand if your taste buds require healthy desserts and bakery items than you will be in heaven. they have a large selection of baked goods and can be quite the scene during the evening with lots of hipsters reading scripts and working online.

This is a great bakery. They also have real food besides the delicious and healthy baked goods. They have a strawberry whipped cream cake that is good for you and out of this world. Stop in and have a coffee or tea and a pastry. You wont be disappointed.
