unfortunately for Kmart this store is just one of many that are on their way to closing down. Everytime I go I think there's more employees than customers.

the service is great if u find the right employee. when i shop at big k in clovis i allways as for frank he's the most helpfull employee i'v met,and i've been shopping there for years!!!!

I have shopped twice for the convenience of trying to compare prices with other stores. Since knowing what item to purchase I continued to the register to pay. The cashier asked me to hold as she needed to take a break. I patiently complied, after 5 min. They openened another register to get the next customer behind me. I explained I was not yet serviced. The Cashier told me to wait. Still no service...I ended up leaving the store. leaving the items at the register. It took them 10 min.
After a month, I decided to go back and see if the service has changed. I proceeded to load a cart with camping supplies I will need for the weekend. Headed to check out, I was the first in line, Wow...the cashier told me to wait a second, she walked at the customer service station to answer the phone (No one was in the registers, the customer service station had 3 personel) after 5 min. in the middle of checking out, I asked for assistance, again "We will be right with you!" was the response of the same cashier. By the way, they were not busy with anyone. I again have to leave. Never again will I shop at that store.

Bought spiderman quilt and sheets on sale I bought them and payed full price on the sheets. I did not notice, till I was home.I called the store so that they could give me a price because I did not want to make a trip all the way out there in vain, I figured that I had made a mistake reading the sign. The lady that answered the phone was very unpleasant and basically told me that she could not help me with that and to make the trip if I really wanted to find out. Then hung up the phone.

I am not a usual Kmart shopper only because I have to go to Clovis to shop there. The ad on 9/25 had some girls boots on ad that my daughter desperatly wants and for $9.99 I want to buy them on sale. I went in Tuesday and Wednesday to find a limited selection and no employees to assist in sight. When I did find an employee (gentleman with glasses) he was not friendly at all. I was informed that Thursday is the shipment day and to check back then. I went in Thursday and there appeared to be no shipment received as the stock was poor as it had been for the last few days.

Before I went in today (Friday) I called and the man who answered must have been the same one I encountered because he was not pleasant at all. He said he was in the warehouse or in the back and it would take some time to go check. I have speakerphone and am not going anywhere until 5:00 and then he asked which boot. I said the one on ad for 9.99 and he said which one and I know there is ONLY one girls boot for 9.99 and told him so. I then said I had been there the last few days and he changed his tone a tiny bit. No new shipment received and the next one would (or SHOULD be) be Thursday when the sale is over. So I am thankful I bought a wrong size intentionally the other day so that I can exchange it whenever they replenish their stock.

It is quite frustrating to have things on ad and then not to have anything in stock. Then when I am looking for assistance I get unfriendly employees who I have to hunt down. They also need call boxes like Target has being that it is a ghostown there. Now I know why I don't shop there.

CONS: No customer service, low stock of sale items, unfriendly employee

This is the only K-Mart tore around here, so I have to shop there if I intend to get the deals K-Mart and only K-Mart can offer me (ie. Thalia Sodi clothes, Martha Stewart Christmas decor, etc.). However, this store for the past two years has progressivley gottne dirtier and dirtier. Their sales have become sleazier and sleazier, to the point that I have taken it upon myself to complain to corporate about some of their recent activities. I got a phone call from the new store manager, and he assured me that things they are a changin'. I hope that is true, I will certainly be watching to make sure it is true, and if it is true, we might expect great things from this store in the future (abolition of the permanent 70% off jewelry sale would be nice!, also up to date coupons in the aisles, clean aisles, and shelf tags that match register scan prices, we can work on allowing coupon overage later!). Anyway, because he called me personally and assured me things are improving, they get a decent review, and we shall see what the future brings!
