Heroes is a nice, comfortable neighborhood bar. I like the beer selection and very large glasses. Food here is good too. I recommend trying the nachos with your beer. We always order a full order of nachos and share with everybody. Service is slow and not very friendly. I don't like the crowd here and sometimes you have to wait for an hour to get a table, but I don't mind as long as the beer and food is good!
Burgers are really good here, and very big like everything else!

Their roast prime rib is the best, and size is really good for the price. The burgers isn't that great. The drinks are cheap and size are huge. I like their free peanuts. This is a good place to hang out with friends.

Heroes is a fantastic bar. Great food, a huge drinks menu and very friendly staff.
I'd recommend it to anyone from out of town as it's atmosphere is like no other.
Just across from the best bar on earth as well, Joe's.

What's happened to Heroes? The menu has changed and so has the atmosphere. Who wants to eat a mushy drippy pulled-pork sandwich with chairs turned upside down (like they're trying to close) on the next table?

As always, the beer selection is wonderful and the peanuts are a nice touch. But something's gonna need to convince me to dine there again.

I live in Fullerton and have loved Heros for years, but the atmosphere has gone downhill drastically in the last year or so. They seem to cater to a much rowdier lower class clientele lately. I am just waiting for them to start bringing out the Mariachi music and a little taco stand in the corner. I am not giving up completely, but lunch or an earlier dinner is all I can handle there any more.

We went to Hero's with a group of 6 people (3 married couple's) for my 39th Birthday on a Friday night. Heroes has good food and drinks and we have been there several times over the years as we live in the local area. After Friday night we will NEVER go again.A girl in her twenties at the next table was also there for her Birthday and was acting mouthy and rude saying that "hell no, its not your birthday its mine." I told her then sit down and have your birthday over there and shut your big mouth. When I wasn't looking she climbed over the table and punched me right in the face. I got up and was thrown in a full nelson by 2 bouncers and thrown out. I was so mad I said why are you throwing me out she hit me. The jerk said you looked like you were going to hit her. They wouldn't let me get my purse that was at the table. My husband was so mad he told them to call the police, the bouncer said we don't know their number. My husband didn't have his phone and mine was still at the table in my purse. My friend was in the bathroom and had no clue what was happening when she went to the table that had been all cleared off. I have no idea why they would kick me out and allowed this girl to stay inside, maybe she is a local, maybe because she's 21 and I'm 39. I guess I will always wonder about this. I woke up the next morning with a black eye and when the bouncers threw me out they ripped my sweater. Completely unprofessional. I was told by everyone I know that I should make a police report and sue Heroes for not calling the Police and for man handling me. Maybe I will. For those of you who go there watch out for drunks and sucker punches because Heroes doesn't care about what happens to you

I love bringing out of town guest to Hero's. It's a local atmosphere where everyone is welcome. You see people on dates, you see families, everyone blends in with no problems. Once you get a table you are immediately given bags of peanuts where you are encouraged to throw the shells on the ground. Consider sharing because the portions are enough for a small family!

im all about customer service and this place was terrible! the servers are the rudest girls ive ever delt with...they get irritated when asking for refills and napkins. especially the short blonde one. only go there to drink at the bar. dont start a tab-theyll jip you big time there. instead of having a computer keep track of your drinks, they use the good 'ol reliable tally mark system-by hand! you cant even understand what the bill says when you get it. dont get me wrong its a great environment and good food-just dont expect a smile from your server!

Pros: great food

Cons: worst service!

.

They have large Portions of food, for decent prices. The chili is quite good. Nights are crowded and during the day it's on and off. Always full of men looking for ladies which makes it uncomfortable, because I am married and go there for the food and beer, not to be stared at and watched by desperate guys. Service was decent, pretty waitresses.

Pros: Fun Bar Environment, good food

Awesome place to go to hang with buddies or dates, throw parties, take the kids. Bar and wait staff are super friendly and attentive; food is plentiful and drinks are well poured. Best bets: steamers, chicken quesedilla, Hero burger and creamed spinach to absolutely die for. Also a wonderful rich, creamy, flavorful lobster bisque most Saturdays.

Heroe's is one of those great local bars where, if you're a "local", you can be sure you'll run into old friends. It has a fun atmosphere - crushed peanut shells on the floor - and just a real laid back feel to it. Don't go there if you're looking to be waited on...you'll have to fight hard to get a drink on some nights, but it's okay because you'll be chatting with everyone anyways.

I think this is the place, in downtown fullerton where you get a bag of peanuts and you can chuck them on the floor! so fun when you're not the one cleaning up the mess. Plus the drinks are pretty big.

Happening place to meet with friends, lot of food / Beer to choose from, food looks good but the taste is really so-so,....surprisingly. I order what I know -steamers & Heffenwizen. I've been mostly disappointed with "just" trying something different on the menu

Pros: hip people, fun/loud

Just your lazy, comfortable place. Had the humungous pancakes. Very good for the quality. Would love to go back and feel "at home" again.
