I was "window shopping" when I met Vic. We made an immediate connection. Vic said he had the "Perfect Wedding band for me." He was right.
Not long after my fiance purchased the ring I went back to (hey thats what women do.) Michael Moses and his team fit me into an amazing pair of earring, watch and pinkie ring (all true vintage.)
I then had some extra diamonds. Whitney (Michaels jewelry designer) created a pendant with those loose stones to help match my new jewelry. This pendant is a must see!!!
My new pendant became an instant family heirloom. Michael Moses and his team are not only our new family jeweler but our friends now too.

I went in with my Grandmothers ring, and these guys were able to tell me all sorts of history and knowledge about it. They sat with me for a long time answering all of my questions, and now I know all sorts of neat things about diamonds and its history. My girlfriend was floored when I told her all the history about it. I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you want to know things about older thing you have. It was a great experience!

I purchased my wifes wedding ring from Todd Bradshaw, and i must say i am so happy with my decision.
He knew exactly what he was talking about, provided all the information i needed, and helped me purchase the best ring i could find withing my budget. I will only shop with them for my jewlery needs from now on.
Its great to have people you can trust in the jewlery business.
You wont regret going here.

I had a ring appraised by Todd Bradshaw and it was a wonderful experience. I had never had anything appraised before and he was very patient in explaining how appraisals work and the details of my ring. Everything was handled professionally and I recieved my paperwork within a timely fashion. I would and do recommend anyone and everyone to use World Gemological Services.

I can not say enough great things about World Gemologist Services. I recently purchased my fianc?e?s engagement there and the service I received was outstanding. Michael Cortez worked with me to find the exact setting and stone that I was looking for. I had something unique in mind and he found and brought in a setting that matched my description exactly. Of all of the jewelers I visited, this was the friendliest, most low-stress, and most knowledgeable. They truly go out of their way to create the perfect ring for you and they do so while respecting your budget and being perfectly forthright and honest. The owner told me many times to go shop other places; he welcomed competition like no other. I know that I'll send my friends and family their way.

I've been in the jewelry business for 15 years and at World Gemological Service, I have found the most accurate identification for value of jewelry, diamonds, and watches. They have an incredible talented and trained team, great customer service, as well as integrity and honesty.
I will highly recommend it to anyone!

I was really pleased with the process at World Gemological Services. I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted and they were happy to make something unique. They warned me that the stone I was looking for might take a week to get, but they were actually able to get it for me in just 2 days! Not only was the service fast, but the price was cheaper than what I could find for lower quality stones on Blue Nile. It is hard to argue with that.

Normally I am all about shopping online, but this good experience has made me reconsider purchasing from local merchants. Thanks again WGS!

In response to the last review, I have not had a better experience consigning my ring at World Gemological Services. I was not only able to consign and sell my ring but also got a great deal form Mike on another piece of jewelry that was on consignment which I love! Thanks Mike!

So I had done my research before commiting to a jeweler to make mine and my fiances wedding bands. I am really glad I found World Gemological Services from a friend. Mike, Hyochin and Whitney all worked with me to get me the exact rings we had wanted, at a pretty darn good price. I really thought it would have been thousands more.

I have nothing but praise for their quality, prices and customer service.

Michael Moses is just about the most helpful and passionate professional I have ever encountered. These people are gemologists first, jewelers second. I was and am wholly convinced that their focus is on delivering the best for the most reasonable price. I was nervous about getting swindled as I started looking for my fiancee's ring, but I went to these people first (after reading a review here). Everything seemed so fair, but I'd never shopped for rings before, so I kept looking. The next several places I checked tried to sell me obviously poorer quality stones for ridiculously higher prices than what was offered at World Gemological Services. So I went back, ready to pay the price we'd discussed when we left off, and then Moses knocked off some more of the price before I could even get a word in. And the ring could not be better suited to my fiancee's taste.

I have been looking for a jewelry appraiser for some rings for some time and finally found a great service. Todd Bradshaw from World Gemological Services helped me, and was professional, courteous and informative. I did not have to go the the trouble and worry of mailing my rings somewhere and waiting weeks for the informtation. Todd did the evaluation right in front of me, and took in depth pictures of the rings and didn't need to take my rings with him. The whole experience was great, and I actually learned a lot about the jewelry I have.

I'm no expert in Diamonds, but I do know customer service. In fact, I demand it from anyone I choose to do business with. The two people I dealt with here (Mike and Whitney) were above and beyond my expectations. I was refered to World Gemological by a friend. I actually put off calling because I was already busy with other apointments at other stores. My friend had told Mike about me and Mike actually called me! After two conversations, he narrowed down the selection to two stones. He offered to meet me after normal business hours at his store since I was driving up from San Diego. That meant alot to me. The two stones he told me about NOT ONLY exceeded my expectations (they were bigger, whiter, clearer, with a brilliant cut!), they were ALSO less expensive than the other stones I had looked at. So, I saved money, got a better quality stone and was given the best customer service, bar none. My wife absolutely loves her ring and I do to.
After the wedding, I went back to visit them because I wanted to purchase earrings for my wife. Again, he offered to meet me late. This time, Whitney was there also and they had many sets for me to look at. After we narrowed down the choices based on my price range, I can't say I was very excited. Based on my reactions, Mike actually told me he didn't want to sell me anything that night because he could tell that I didn't really like any of them. Wow! For someone to turn down a sale because it's in the customers best interest is HUGE for me. Instead, we brainstormed and Mike and Whitney came up with a suggestion - that I get my wife a nice piece of jewelry on our Hawaiian vacation I was about to leave on. Whitney jumped on the computer and within 5 minutes, we picked out a white gold & diamond sandal pendant necklace...from a store in Hawaii. Mike jumped on the phone, checked availability, and put one on hold for me. WOW! He gave a sale to someone else! Oh, and my wife loved that too! I will be returning to World Gemological soon!

I am very, very, very pleased with the service, quality and professionalism at World Gemological Services.
I tried to buy some jewelry the day I went in to see them.......... but what happen? The owner told me to go out and check out other places FIRST! What a concept!!! I did my due diligence and then came back to get the surprise of the day. WHAT QUALITY vs PRICE!!! They are the BEST. I've told my friends of this hidden gem and they too are very very pleased. KEEP IT UP 'MIKE' - YOUR THE BEST.

I cant say enough good things about World Gemological services! The Customer service is outstanding, and the quality for the price is superb. I got in contact with them after several months of searching and visting many stores from san diego and La Jolla to newport. They gave me very detailed information on what to look for in a diamond (which i confirmed with a friend who is in the industry). Once i picked out a diamond style and price they found the perfect match for me. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and my wife gets compliments everywhere we go for the brilliance of the diamond. I would highly recommend World Gemological Services to anyone looking for a quality diamond.

World Gemological Services is a great place to find wonderful, knowledgeable employees and get great deals on jewelry and jewelry appraisals. Their employees are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the industry and always make the effort to help you understand what you are purchasing and what all of your options are. I have referred many of my friends to them and all of them are happy customers who have started referring their friends also. if you want a great customer service and to find exactly what you're looking for this is the place to go!

What is so great about these guys? My grilfriend has waited for these guys to sell jewelry for her for many many months. They won't even call her back! I even heard her friend say one of the guys really let her down on a deal.... a big money deal.... So my question is why does my girl... still like these guys so much?

I know she is in the same biz, sort of... so maybe they are honest... but it bothers that she doesn't call them and tell them to get with it. Or that she doesn't tell her pals in the industry what these guys are doing?
Does anyone know what is up with this company? Are they honest? Can they sell jewlery on consignment better that the rest, like my girl and all her friend say? or is she being brainwashed by some great looking guy with a good talk? Thank you
