It's tasty, delicious, atmospheric, and like entering "The Sting." The staff pulls endless tricks (unpriced overpriced specials, charging for water) to crank up your bill behind your back. I once saw Michelle Pfeiffer eating there -- she's probably the only customer in the world who can afford this scamfest.
On our last visit, they just "happened" to bring us the wrong wine, which added almost TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS to the bill. It's outrageous! Unless you have carny training, avoid this place.

What a SCAM! The setting (except for the liquor store parking lot) is beautiful. The food is consistently great. But wow -- as numerous other reviews attest, this place is run by CROOKS! They will pull every sleazy trick in the book to

Worst restaurant experience on Montana Ave. Terrible food, way over priced, rude wait staff. We waited a half hour for the smallest, wilted salad we'd ever seen. Then, we waited another half hour for our pasta entrees, which were tiny.

Locanda Portofino is located at a strip mall and may not look very welcoming from the outside but is very cozy and cute when you get inside. They have authentic Italian pastas and great wines.

By far the best Italian eatery on the Westside. Great food, great service, extensive wine list and romantic setting. If you want true Italian food you have to come to this spot on Montana.

I rarely give bad reviews but this place really rubbed me a wrong way. After being seated at the door, where people constantly bumped into our table, we had to ask several times for water, while our waiter was literally picking his nose.
