i used to bring my dry cleaning to paragon all the time- i had heard that they dry cleaned clothes for disney studios and were extremely reputable. the actual cleaning was fine, but the last time that i went to pick up my clothes there were a few shirts missing. the woman/owner scrambled to find them- i waited for about 20 minutes as she wandered around looking for them, finally she says, "let me call my daughter" i looked confused at her and asked "why?" ...no answer. the daughter picked up, the phone was silent for a while and the mother/owner and daughter went back and forth on the phone whispering...finally she got off the phone and said "you'll have to come back for the other shirts they are at the house"..."what?" i exclaimed...apparently the daughter took my shirts from the dry cleaners to wear and they were most likely sitting in a heap on her teenage bedroom floor. how disgusting. i was absolutely mortified. "i said, i wont be coming back for those tops, please have her bring them to me here right this minute"
the woman couldnt believe that i was making such a big deal about it- i guess they do this all the time.
i was so upset, i have told all of my friends and family.
go accross the street to SNOW WHITE cleaners, the guy is so nice, the prices are better, they are super professional and do an excellent job.

I had a couture wedding dress that I wanted to use for my own wedding. It had been worn once by someone else for only a few hours and was supposedly "professionally dry-cleaned". I tried iton in low lights at home and saw no stains or problems. When I needed to make alterations as my wedding day was vastly approaching (in 6 weeks), I noticed (under fluorescent light) multiple stains on the front bodice and train of what looked like water marks or yellowing. Although it was hard to see in some light, it was very noticeable in fluorescent light!!! I took it to TWO other cleaners who did not want to even TRY and get the stains out because the dress was so delicate (a special silk/satin material) and they just sent me on my way. Unexpectedly I just tried Paragon and Taline was there who did everything in her power to try and get the yellowed stains (probably left from the previous cleaner who tried to remove make-up and dirt along the train) out by using wet cleaning...although it took some of the luster out of the dress, I was just so happy that she got it out in the bodice where it would show in all of my pictures! She did such a wonderful job trying her hardest to make my dream dress wearable!! She gave me options just in case it didn't work and she even offered to find me a seamstress to make a lace little jacket or vest to cover up some of the bodice!!! This place had GREAT service and they really work hard and go to great lengths to help out their customers! I will NEVER go to another dry cleaners again!!!!

nice enough and friendly enough folk, stains were cleaned to my satisfaction (most imp thing to me after horrible exp right across the street at another space), but price kinda high. worth it for some items, not sure for all everyday stuff. understand price due to enviro practices, etc., so if imp to you, this is the place for you too!

I visited them three times in the passed month. The staff is friendly and helpful. Has a nice family feel. The tailors were great!

On my last visit I had spilled red wine on my silk dress and they got it out! A great experience.

I was really hessitant to try this place after reading Diana's review, but since they are environmentally friendly and closest to my work, I thought I'd try them anyway. I'm glad I did. I've found Paragon to be filled with friendly workers who have a clear understanding of the English language (a huge plus for me). Personally, I'm less worried about hidden charges and paying the lowest amount possible for services and more concerned about my clothes being cleaned with non-toxic chemicals and my alteration directions CLEARLY understood. Probably one of the best features this place offers is it's tailoring. They do french hems (cutting the original bottoms off jeans and re-sewing them on) which it is faily hard to find someone who will do that. I brought in a pair of sweats and asked them to fix a hole. The immediately pointed out 3 other holes! I would say they are very thorough, polite, and a good place to go if you care about :
1) Good Communication Abilities
2) Enviornmentally Friendly Dry Cleaning
3) Top Notch Tayloring
4) Polite and Courteous Staff
Probably not a good place to go if you are looking for the best prices on standard dry cleaning.

PROS: Friendly staff, good understanding of English
CONS: Somewhat Pricy

I was in search of a new dry cleaners when I saw the eco-friendly sign outside of Paragon. I decided one day to give them a shot and ws less than thrilled with the $4.25 minimum for shirts, but I HAD to get a few items cleaned. Also, they gave me a $10 off any $30 order coupon which seemed promising.

When I went to pick up my 4 items the total was more than $22!! My cotton shirt with a basic soup spill cost $6.75 to clean - it hardly cost that much at the outlet store I bought it at. They said the extra charge for that, and another shirt I'd worn ONCE and wasn't really dirty, was that it needed de-linting, an extra charge of $1. I had not asked for this and when I complained they ignored me, saying I must have a messy dog or cat - I have neither and stay away from them because I am allergic. You'd think they might make an effort to work with a new customer but they were only combative.

I can't say the actual dry cleaning was actually any better than the local anonymous $2 per piece spot, so I will NOT be going back, and I wanted to warn everyone else before they get conned by this place as well.

PROS:
CONS: They have hidden extra charges for services you don't request.

I payed $10 to have a pair of lined pants hemmed. Three months (approx 6 wearings) later, the thread had pulled and one of the hems was coming loose. Rather than devising a way to make it my fault and charge me again, they graciously repaired the hem for free.
