What a treat to find the Cowboy! The food is great and we've returned time and time again. Try the "James Gang", a wonderful appetizer with their incredible jalapeo glaze. This family-owned establishment is friendly & welcoming, and their menu is top notch. Whenever you're in Felton, this is the place to satisfy your hunger. Also try out a wonderful cocktail from their specialty drink menu!

Not what we expected. The food was great the beer was cold and the price was a bit high. But for the quality it turned out to be ok. There was a huge group there the day we were and the service was still excellent.

Our group of 24 Porsche drivers on tour stopped for lunch. We had called ahead to "warn" them of the date and time. The tables were set &. they welcomed us. It's a family run operation, with the daughters supplying great and friendly waitress service. Separate checks for our large group were no problem. I had the 1/3 lb Blue Moon Burger made with the Italian Gorgonzola. Yum. Much more creamy than regular Blue Cheese. You have a choice of sides, fries, coleslaw of salad. The Yam Cakes were delicious, served with pepper sauce and ranch dressing on the side. How do you make something this delicious?, we all asked. Do you think they wouldn't share the recipe if you asked? Nope. Dad, the chef, told us in detail how they are made. We'll be back!!! Call ahead for groups & tip generously.

And how! Stick to your ribs good down-home cookin' -- with a twist. Mom never made jalapeo jelly, and MAN that cornbread is just to die for! Really. Even though this restaurant has the best cuts of meat -- such that a veteran Atkins' person would still be delighted (try the Kabluey steak) -- save some carbs for that cornbread!

This place is funky and folksy, just the way the San Lorenzo Valley should be, with a full bar and friendly service. You don't have to dress up here -- but you certainly will fill up.

This is gourmet cowboy cusine, if you can believe it! Ribs can come with jalapeno jelly, sweet potatoes come in patties, salads go far beyond your basic iceberg.

The food is moderately expensive, but even I (who tends to be on the cheap side when dining out) think it is worth the extra money.
