Doyle Patrick K Od - Eyes Of Westwood Optometry

I'm a UCLA student, first time getting my eyes checked here at school, and did some shopping before I chose Eyes of Westwood. I went here for a checkup exam and new glasses, and everyone was really helpful.

I had a little tricky situation with my insurance, but the receptionist at Eyes of Westwood was very helpful and patient as I explained my situation, and was very friendly as she helped me understand my costs. (Just as a side note, the other optometry office receptionists in Westwood were NOT helpful at all... Westwood Optometric in particular.) They do accept EyeMed, which is the UCLA student insurance.

When I got there, they helped me right away and already had my information prepared from the day before (when I called to make the appointment). I filled out a quick questionnaire, and Dr. Doyle helped me right away (yes he is very friendly, and very handsome, you can see his pic on their website). He also coached me through my first time trying contacts, just for kicks, which was interesting.

Finally, the guy helping me get my frames (I completely missed his name) was VERY helpful. I told him my price range and he stuck to it, without pushing me towards more expensive ones, and was very honest when seeing what worked for me face and what didn't. He also helped take out my contacts, pain-free.

My new glasses came out about $50 more expensive than usual but I think that's because I tried a new coating on my lenses. That being said, I believe the prices are pretty standard here. There's not a huge selection, but they have a good range, from crazy expensive designer ones to more affordable brands like Guess and Bebe.

Great staff, everyone helpful, and would definitely visit again.

I have been cared for by Dr. Doyle's clinic for over 3 years and have alsways had excellent service by his staff. Dr. Doyle provides a prompt and professional exam, and any services (such as contact lense orders) have always been facilitated with ease. I highly recommend Dr. Doyle and Eyes of Westwood Optometry.

Dr Doyle is an excellent eye doctor! Ive been seeing him for a couple of years now and am very satisfied with his services. Overall, his staff is professional and friendly. He doesnt have a huge selection of glasses, however, Ive always been pleased with the glasses that I have purchased from his office (although once, it did take nearly 3 weeks to receive a pair of glasses due to mistakes made at his lab).
