I was very impressed with this place when I went here a couple years ago. It was full of very interesting items that were real including a human head that was shrunk down to the size of a baby's head. The price was relatively inexpensive too. A must see if you're ever in the area.

For the price you pay, you might as well get a good laugh out of it. The museum is full of most ridiculous, amazing things and people from all over the world. I actually found that very educational, well some of it, at least. You should take time to really read each display because otherwise you'd be gushing thru the entire place in 30 mins and will feel ripped off!

Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum is a collection of oddities. It's entertaining until you realize that the majority of the exhibits are the result of human cruelty, genetics gone haywire or a huge natural disaster. Then it gets a little old.
Still, it's entertaining. Everyone who lives in the area should go at least once. I would leave young children at home, though--too much explaining to do. Bring them something fun from the gift shop instead.

Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum was crazyyy. Tons of things to see, tons of things to learn, and scary exhibitions. Ripley's is incredibly famous so no doubt the museum would be great. This place is great to go with family because it's amusing to see the things that people will do just to get into the recordbook.

And I think that its definetly somewhere to check out, if only once. =) It was not neccesarily conducive for a young child.. my daughter was not really "into" it..

If you havent dropped by Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, then you should. They probably have an amazing selection of eyes popping material that you never thought it would exist. However, I must warn for parent to do take precaution a few displays because it not for the weak hearted or young children.

This museum is kind of like a tourist trap. Some of the exhibits are somewhat impressive, but most of it is boring. Some of the stuff I saw here was really disturbing. It doesn't take for you to see everything here. The admission is way too overpriced, it should be like $2 or something, it's truly not worth anymore than that.

It's interesting to walk through Ripleys, turning corners and coming upon exhibets in the semi-dim light. Then it hits you. Almost all of the exhibets come from 1 of 3 causes: (1) human cruelty, (2) genetics gone terribly awry, (3) a huge natural disaster. Then it all starts to get a little old.
Still, if you live in the area you should go at least once. Figuring out that the hunk of twisted, crushed metal was a car that someone survived in for a few days when the freeway crushed him during an earthquake rates a few gasps on the OMG scale. So it goes.
Leave the little kids at home--there's just too much explaining to do. Bring them something from the fun gift shop instead.

They have the strangest items there. Half the time you really are wondering is this for real. They have some intresting visual pictures that require you to find things. Plus a replica of the largest person that ever lived. stand next to it and see how you measure up. plus its not to expensive but it only take an hour to go through so you will have to find something else to do for the rest of the day.
