This is an okay place to go fishing for the day. I wouldnt camp here because it seems dirty and noisy and ALOT of traffic going in and out. I dont know that i would feel safe. But if you just wanna get away from the day its a good place.

Fisherman's Retreat is an odd set up. People pay yearly dues to park their RVs or set up tents here and fish at one of it's three stocked lakes. It sounds great in theory, but there are some major problems. One, there are so many fisherman and so few fish that when we were there we only saw one fish caught the whole day. They had just restocked the lake. The other major drawback: it's located directly next to a very busy, and VERY noisy, train track, which made sleeping at all nearly impossible. The trains were so close to our site our tent actually shook.
They do have a pool and a small playgound, but those were to only two positives of our stay there.

PROS: Small pool and playground
CONS: No fish, too noisy, other campers were nasty and rude, too many trains
