Take a walk back into the 1950's as you enter San Francisco's Lori's Diners. A San Francisco tradition, Lori's has locations throughout the Bay area serving classic American food. Omelets, pancakes, tuna melts, burgers and classic dinners like meatloaf, grilled chicken....and don't forget about the Lori's milkshake. Check out all the 1950's memorabilia....Elvis would be proud. Great for people of all ages.

Reviews for Lori's Diner

Ratings_icons Good Food

Lori's serves a pretty predictable diner menu (burgers, fries, chili, milk-shakes). They are right in the heart of the City in Ghirardelli Square so it is always busy. After you finish driving your tenth lap searching for parking and end up parking at the first garage you passed 20 minutes before, the walk to Lori's will be refreshing in the crisp SF evening air! The food is good (not great) but then again it's diner food and the price is right. Overall, good spot for a quick snack or shake/dessert after a game or night out on the town!

Ratings_icons Great location!

We ate here while visiting San Francisco. This location is in the Fisherman's Wharf area so it was conveniently located near our hotel. Lori's has a fun, retro setting. We just ordered burgers. There is nothing fancy about the menu but if that's what you like to eat, you'll be happy. Our waitress wasn't always on top of things but we enjoyed the outdoor table as it was a beautiful day in San Francisco. I printed off a coupon online before leaving home so we were able to save a few bucks too!

Ratings_icons Busy place

The location is great-right at Ghirardelli square. But that makes it very crowded. Specially on weekends. However, the servers were very nice. We looked at the menu while waiting and placed the order and by the time we were seated--the wait for the food was minimal-this worked out well as the kids were hungry. The food was pretty good-classic diner food like burger-fries-milkshake.

Ratings_icons Not As Good As We Had Expected

SFtourist1

We were hoping for a nice breakfast and got just an average one. Nothing out of the ordinary except the ambiance. Cheery diner feel. The breakfast we got was over priced for what was delivered. The service was not friendly. Quick trips were made to the table but no smile or even conversation out side of the normal "What Can I get You?" or "Are You Done?". There are cheaper places in town for breakfast that have the same food and better service.

Pros: Nice ambience, fun diner look.

Cons: Food is average but at a high price.
