Linden Tree Childrens Records

It has so much to look at.
I take my kids there before a big trip so they can stock up on books.
Staff is friendly, funny even at times.
We went to a book signing and they kept the crowd nicely contained and I didn't feel like it was hectic at all!

I've shopped here a few times and each time I've found the child's book that I wanted. Each time there has been someone behind the counter that just could not take the time to ring me up and had to call someone else over instead.

Anytime you need a book for children this is the place to go. Everytime I take my boys for a new book all they have to do is tell one of the sales people what they are interested in and they are introduced to an author or series that peaks their interest. I am impressed that many of the books have been read by the people working there and they can speak to the boys "first hand" about their interests.

This is a wonderful bookstore! If you need advice on the perfect book to buy a child or teenager, their staff is happy to spend time with you roaming their ample inventory. They are obviously passionate about reading, and inspire that love in their customers as well.

After being both a loyal customer for almost 15 years and even moving out of state twice, I still come back to faithful Linden Tree. Their knowledgable staff are friendly and helpful, and their selection of books and teaching resources can't be beat!

When in doubt about what to purchase as a gift for one of the many birthday parties your children attend each year, you can't go wrong with a Linden Tree book or gift certificate. They have a knowledgeable and helpful staff. On those rare occasions when they don't have what you're looking for, they will tell you where to find it. A gem of a store.

This bookstore is great for anyone who loves books, or needs help finding a good one. All of the people who work in this store have read much of what they sell. They can steer you in the needed direction to find a title you know, or help find a book by interest. Kids have written reviews of books they've enjoyed and you can find these on the shelves. Their selection is terrific. They can also special order any book still in print. They do fundraiser book sales at schools. They also have a selection of self-help, special toys and trinkets, and Klutz books. This is an all-around bookstore for those wanting service, selection and a cozy, friendly atmosphere.

Linden Tree is a very cosy and requiet bookstore with very good service. Whenever I go there to look for a particular children's book, they almost always have the copy or order it for you right away.

This is a great book store for kids in the Los Altos downtown. Younger kids have lot of games to play while the siblings will have a lot book collection to shop. The customer service is really good. The whole store is clean and well organized. Time to time the store invites the guests and kids will have a chance to meet the authors personally and get the first hand experience.

Linden Tree is definitely one of the best children's bookstores ever. I have been going there since my college age child was an infant and even my mother-in-law, who lives on the east coast, always stops there when she is in town. Their book supply is top quality and if they are out of a book they will order it for you. I especially like it because I can walk in there, tell one of the clerks what age child I am shopping for and they will give you a variety of ideas on what is popular right now, or will give yt is fun to browse and there are even parent in the self-help section. Gift wrapping is available free of charge too.

I was looking for a good book on grammar for our middle school 6th grader. After searching the web, going to Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc., I tried Linden Tree. They were very knowledgeable on reference books for this age group and had a great book called Write SOurce 2000.

The Linden Tree is a great resource for books up through about junior high. They carry a wide variety of things as well as reference books. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it for you. The help is extremely knowledgeable - it is a real pleasure dealing with them.

Linden Tree has an incredible selection of books and music for children of all ages. The staff is amazing..it seems as though they have read (and remember) every book in stock, and they are happy to give suggestions for your child or a gift.

This is a wonderful traditional children's bookshop. I come here everytime I'm in downtown Los Altos. It's a great place to browse the latest in children's books. They have a great selection to choose from and a helpful staff to guide you if you don't know exactly what you are looking for. It's a small store, but big on what the kids will enjoy. The staff is knowlegeable. There's a small area for the little ones to play in while you shop.

This store is so cute. They have all kinds of books and music for the little young ones. I havent actually been to any but I've heard that they have great programs. the problem is their working hours, i belive they work until 5:30Pm which is sometimes a probel, you cant always get there this early. But a really great place to visit whith a young child.

Linden tree books is located in downtown Los Altos. It is a small store with a lot to offer. They specialize in children's literature. The store is well laid out and the staff knowedgeable and courteous. There is even a little play area hidden behind a bookshelf to keep the very little ones busy. They have a great book exchange program to accomodate gift givers. A definite one stop shopping place for children's books.
