Crossroads Trading Company has three locations in San Francisco and is markedly different from the usual thrift or consignment shop. Crossroads purchases used clothing from the community, but buys only high quality clothing, in current styles and in great condition. Prices are low, the stream of new inventory is constant and you can find designer labels at a fraction of the cost.
PROS: High quality used clothing at reasonable prices
CONS: None

I don't find the sales associates rude here. They've been very helpful to me. They don't always take everything I bring in to sell but that's expected. Sometimes I bring things back more than once and they take it another time.
But the best thing in here is the prices for a label lover like me. I like to dig and find my treasures--lately I've gotten Marc by Marc Jacobs ballet flats for 25 bucks and a Gucci sweater for 27.50. They have great jeans here too.
Pros: great labels and prices

I personally adore this store, but I am a fan of hunting for a good find. If you are looking for something specific quickly, forget it. The reason I am writing this review, however, is that the staff are the rudest retail people I have ever encountered. Every time I go in I want to yell "GET OVER YOURSELF." If you ask for something, like (god forbid) a dressing room, they react as if you are asking the biggest favor. No one has ever smiled at me, ever. Ever! They laugh and chat amongst themselves freely, but are incredibly rude to anyone who doesnt work there. Also, one of their people has to be on downers. On multiple occasions it looks like she is doing all she can possibly muster not to fall asleep, cry, or stab someone. The rest are just flat out snobby.
Long story short: If I wasnt cheap and didnt love clothes shopping, I would never set foot in this store.
Pros: cute clothes
Cons: evil workers

In the past, I just always would pass this store by. Until my friend told me about their sales I decided to check it out. Right when I first came in, I was greeted, and I right away found a cute shirt for only $9, and was brand new, it even had it's original retail tag on it. I was comfortable with the environment of the store and it's employees.
Pros: good finds, good variety, great customer servic
