We purchased a few comics for the children to enjoy. There were TONS of comics, backissues, and even some for the new comic reader. They were reasonably priced and I highly recommend them for any one wanting to get that comic book issue you remembered or heard about and want to revisit. Awesome inventory. I will warn that I had to tell the kids "no toys" and there was a problem there, but I think it's hard NOT to find a comic store without toys out... sort of comes with the territory. The toys are expensive because of what they are... toys NIB from the 60's on up.

I've been going to this store since I was in high school. Paul has consistently had my books ready and pulled with bags and boards for years now. The store itself is obviously a comic book shop first, with various comic-themed toys arranged somewhat chaotically around the shop. Paul and his staff are very knowledgeable about their product - no non geek clerks here.

Pros: Great back issue inventory, discount w/ pull lists

Good toys, wide selection of old comics. Store atmosphere is like an old book store. Great for hard to find back issues of comics. Conveniently located.

IT'S NICE TO SEE A COMIC SHOP FOCUSING ON COMICS INSTEAD OF TOYS. THIS PLACE HAS SO MANY BACKISSUES, ONE CAN BE ENTERTAINED FOR HOURS. I LIVE 15 MILES AWAY AND MAKE THE TRIP, EVEN THOUGH I LIVE 5 MILES FROM THE HOLLYWOOD GOLDEN APPLE.
