Emerald Chinese Seafood Rstrnt

I went to this restaurant because I wanted dim sum because I heard that is what it is known for. We got their too late, so we ordered from the regular menu. I thought the food was way over priced, but still good. I don't think i would go back unless it was to eat dim sum. The service was good as well.

their dimsum is good. their price isnt bad either. i like how the girls that seat you are dressed in the chinese dresses. their service is pretty good, but it can be hard to get a hold of the carts that bring dimsum around depending on where your table is.

I love Emerald. They have the best dim sum selection and everything they serve is delicious. Lunch starts at 11am and since it's very popular, I would suggest getting there as close to 11am as possible. They serve the usualy dim sum fare and then some. As a Chinese, whenever I feel homesick for Chinese food, Emerald's my delicious pick me up. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is upscale Chinese.

I think this place has possibly the best dim sum in San Diego, however the lines may be long on the weekends. If you go for dim sum, make sure you go earlier in the day so that you have more selection to choose from. The food tastes good and better than other dim sum places, however the price is a little steeper than others. I would recommend this place if you can wake up early on the weekends. They have decent service and the restaurant is fairly clean.
