I WOULD HAVE CLICKED ON ZERO STAR BUT IT DIDN'T GIVE ME THE OPTION.. AFTER LIVING HERE FOR 10 YEARS , MY APT HAS BEEN BURGLARIZED AND MY CAR VANDALIZED... THEY DID NOTHING TO ASSIST OR ACCOMMODATE ME!!!!!!

They stink!!!!!!!

Regents La Jolla is filled with loud irresponsible people. The place is pretty nice, but the management sucks. During the summer it gets pretty noisy and dirty. For the price of living here it's not worth it.

I have only been here for a short time. So far I have experienced: Leaking air conditioner- large amount of water leaking from the ceiling. Maintenance left a mess and a wet carpet when they repaired it. Back door would not shut or latch. Maintenance "fixed" it with caulking. Bathroom sink was clogged when I arrived.
Both elevators out of order. Access from the stairs was locked- tentants were not given a code to unlock it. Unable to get in my unit for over an hour, waiting in the hot stairwell. When I got ahold of after-hours maintenance, I was actually nastily repremanded for "bothering" the on-call maintenance man with the "little thing" of being unable to get into my exhorbinately expensive unit.
Balconies/patios are very small, window treatments are damaged. Washer and dryer are the small, apt stacking type and are in a small closet outside.
Staff acts really annoyed and like you are bothering them when you contact them.
I regret staying here.

Located on Regents Road and across the street from UCSD Graduate housing, Regents Apartments have quite the living arrangement. Residents have access to an underground parking garage, large pools, fitness center, theater, pool tables, and many other amenities. It's a very nice looking set up and is pretty high tech (scanners you can put on your key chain to open the main gates). The apartments themselves are pretty spacious, though I'm not certain if they are all alike the two bedroom ones have two bathrooms a common area, kitchen, dining room and porch/balcony. It's pretty decent pricing for renters/leasers but it all depends on supply it seems. Get there early in the year to start talking about vacancies and picking up leases if you are just moving off UCSD campus or are looking for housing in the La Jolla Area.

Regents apartments certainly fall into the category of luxury living. I am not a fan of the hotel like feeling of the complex, but they certainly do take good care of their tenants. Every community feature possible is available, including a movie theatre room that can be signed out to view your favourite DVD on a large projection screen TV. The office personnel are ever courteous and always willing to help should you need any assistance. It all depends on whether you want to pay the big dollars for your luxury lifestyle.

Although the apartments seemed really amazing and great looking at both the interior and exterior, they seemed a little too pricey. There is lots of storage space and good sized rooms. It is a fairly quiet community, located right next to UCSD. There is also lots of plant life on the outside.
