I was wrong to think repairing my washer was beyond my capability. Everything you need to know is online. This is why I know Brian at Asiens Appliance is incompetent. He put his ear to my washer and determined the machine control board was burnt. $230 later come to find he's wrong. The motor control board is burnt. You can only tell this by removing two screws and looking at the board or better yet test a resister for continuity, none of which he did. It was his last call and he wanted to go home. If you are tired of incompetence then you're tired of people like Brian and companies like Asiens. Avoid at all cost.

We asked them to repair our (new) clothes dryer. They sent a guy 3 times who kept claiming that a coin was in there, despite our explanations. Finally, we paid more than $600.00 to replace the drum which was less than a year old. They then announced it was fixed. The next day it made the same sound again. Now, they won't return our calls. My advice is: go anywhere else!

On Aug 2008 I had my Kitchen Aid refrigerator looked at by their tech. The ref's compressor does not come on at all. It took the tech 10 minutes to come up with a probable cause that a circuit board has failed. According to him the power goes in but did not come out through a check point in the circuit and that a circuit board somewhere in the circuit is responsible. I was told that the part should come in after 2-3 days. I called Asien's office after 8 days of not hearing any from the tech nor the company. I was told that the part was not ordered because there is no circuit board in my refrigerator and that the tech got sick and did not tell anyone in the office of the status of my ref until the day before I called.

Two things I'm particular about this incident:
1) Inform the customer ASAP of the status or change in status of part and estimated repair
2) No action was taken after finding out that the problem was different from what the customer was told. They should have send the tech or set another appointment ASAP.

After all of these, I PAID $60.00 for what? INCOMPETENCE and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Give me a break!

My only experience has been with their service section. We actually had bought a dishwasher at Best Buy and were having some problems with it, but Best Buy's usual contract service person was busy or otherwise not available so they referred their service to Asiens. The service tech who came was knowledgeable and figured out the problem quickly. Made me wish we'd bought our dishwasher there instead of Best Buy. Only negative that in the 2-4 hour time frame they gave me that a tech could show up- they showed up literally in the last 5 minutes of it just when I'd given up and started cooking dinner- not the best time to have someone in your kitchen- but hey- they did show up and apologized for being on the late end of the time frame.
