Play It Again Sports

i was physically threatened/ verbally abused when i confronted the owner about his unethical/ shady dealings (he told me my gear was unusable and he would dispose of it properly, only to turn around next week and put it out for sale). i asked him to donate the gear to charity as a compromise and he hurled a string of graphic expletives at me and chased me out of the store. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HER ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS. there are other locations with better inventory anyway (ie-pasadena, torrance)

Play It Again Sports is one of the best sports stores around. This one has a huge selection of all types of sports equipment, and they prices are great. Very friendly staff and a great environment.

Whether your into outdoor or indoor sports, Play it Again carries some of the best equipment new and used. This particular location is one of the largest in So Cal and they carry a huge variety of water sport equipment (wet suits, jackets, etc)

I was looking for a snowboard when I came here, but I didn't find what I was looking for. Prices are amazingly low compared to competition like Ebay and Craigslist. I went to a different location looking for wetsuits and had a similar experience; even though I may not have made purchases at either time, the experience gave me a good idea of what kind of prices I could be paying if I were truly on a budget.

Great concept -- wish I thought of it. All of that workout geat and sporting equipment you bought but never did anything with -- well, here's a place to bring it and make some of your cash back. I've gone in here a few times to look at treadmills and some other items and the prices are pretty good and they back it up with a decent warranty.

Great place to Buy and Sell your Kids and Adults too, sporting equipment. We have brought many items that cost mega bucks and didnt know what to do with after the kids ourgrow or have no interest in anymore. They take stuff on consignment and you stopin once in awhile after a few weeks and if anything sold, they write you a check on the spot. You continue to stop in and check on your account. THey usually sell everything. Very fair with prices when buying or selling. Before you buy new check here first!!
